Proposal...I wonder?!?

I am trying to figure out (not sure why...boredom I guess...fantasy) how my ff will propose. The ring should be ready in a few days(!!!) but I am sure the wait will be longer. We are big hikers and nature is a big part of our lives...so I am thinking he might do it on a hike. I love that idea. Reasons I think this...hiking is kind of our identity, he has said on recent hikes "It would be nice if you would have brought your camera" and we haven''t hiked in awhile together and I told him I was out on the trails yesterday with my dog and he said "We will go together soon" and he let out this cute chuckle. The other way I think he might do it is at this winery that is really special to us. He has said recently that we need to go back soon...and we were there only just a few weeks ago. So I dunno? What do you guys think? Either way would be perfect and special to me

Well since hiking is something ya''ll enjoy doing together I think that would be a sweet way to pop the question. Possibly him bending down to "tie his shoe laces" and then asking! Aw...lol. But, then the

question is where would he keep the ring? I have heard some guys keep it in one of their socks, but I''d be nervous about that!

Those both sound like they would be very romantic! That''s so exciting that you think it will be soon! I''ve done my best to try and not think about how the actual proposal will happen (now if only I could stop trying to guess when...

). I don''t want to have a picture of it in my head and then have it happen differently and be disappointed.

When the jewler said it would be 10-14 days to finish the ring, I said "great, perfect amount of time to plan the perfect proposal" and he said "Oh I have had that part figured out a looooong loooong time ago "

Can I say reading your post I got a little tiny bit of PS-envy?

(I suffer from that, sometimes, when I read the proposal threads! although I love reading the stories and get truly happy for all my fellow LIW *friends*!) Good kind of envy though!
