Isn''t laughing just the best sound ever?! How adorable! And it does just keep getting better and better.
My Dh wants whatever I want. (let''s face it, their part is mostly fun!

)
I admit that I am not the happiest preggo though - this may concern him a little since he has to live with me.

jas12- if you do chicago, I could probably head into the city too and meet you and jackiejas for lunch..

iluv-you know I was on the fence with Jake. I actually got preggo in early 2007 and miscarried and wasn''t sure I really wanted another baby. my girls were finally big enough to do things on their own and I was finally having some "me" time back. Plus, they would both be off to school leaving my days free! But, i wasn''t 100% sure I didn''t want a 3rd so we decided to just let nature take it''s course. I turned 35 that nov. and we decided to give it until my 35th b-day and if I wasn''t preggo, hubby would go get snipped. I ended up preggo with jake and at first I was still a little unsure but I can say I''m so happy now that we have our little man. My sister and I are 6 years a part and she''d my best friend. I don''t think your kids ages would be a problem at all. you''ve got 2 built in helpers
1.gif
But, I understand it''s a tough decision, i''m sure you''ll figure out what is best for you and your family.

Snlee: love the avatar and laughing babies are the best! Chloe has laughed for a few weeks now, but not always on command! Lately taking her hand and punching me in the cheek with it gets a few giggles. Raspberry noises in any body part of hers also works--give it a try! Unfortunately the laughing always results in hiccups! She also likes to combine the laugh with that catlike scream noise too! Hey, I''ll take it!

TGal: love your descriptions of Amelia and toys being taken away. Chloe also seems to be slow on the rolling over so maybe she is also lazy? And you commented on 2 working parents--I''ve only been doing it a few weeks and it is very tough. I need advice from ladies doing it here as well! I don''t see Chloe enough, she goes to bed later as a result, and weekends I have so many errands I still don''t see her enough. I hope I find balance soon or else the guilt is bound to set in.

LOL Janine - perhaps I shouldn''t be using the word "lazy" so much. How about we just call our babies "content?"

Burk, sorry to hear about you guys all having the flu. The same thing happened to us a few months back. No fun!

iluv, only you know what is best for you. My brother is 6 years younger and we have always been close. ADORABLE photo. All of yours are so good! Glad that your vision is better and the stone has past.

MrsS, sorry that your DH doesn''t get to see Jake a lot. Mine is the same way. He works so hard and only takes one day off a week. I hope you get that job and can move soon!!!

TGal, I''ve got a daddy''s girl as well. He is her favorite person. I have total faith in Ame and think she is probably SMARTER for not crawling. She has life figured out!

Jas12, Tessa just loves that ball pit. We play in it everyday and she is so silly. I taught her how to say "GOAL!" (it is a soccer field ball pit). Pretty funny. Hope the work stuff sorts its self out. Building a house is so exciting! Hope Co feels better soon.

Lili, it was more like a party since the DHs came. We are going to try to do it once a month but you know how that goes.

Snlee, how sweet that D is laughing now! I totally remembered when T did that. I was shocked. And her first giggle was this long, drawn out giggle fest not just one little one. I was so excited!

Janine, hope you can adjust to working again soon. No advice just sympathies!

iluv~I didn''t get a flu shot, but Tayva did and she''s the one that infected us all!
14.gif
Glad you are kidney stone free! I still think you should have number 3!
2.gif

mrss~Thanks! Hope that you get that job back home and you''re able to move! Sorry you don''t love things where you are. Moving is so hard. We moved quite a bit when I was younger. Do your kids dislike it too?

tgal~You don''t even know how much I appreciated the little chuckle!

Jas12~Sorry poor Co isn''t feeling well! Hope he gets over it soon!

Tayva is throwing a holy fit in her crib right now. She has a fever now so I''m thinking her teeth are FINALLY coming in.....be back in a bit to finish catching up!

Thanks for the input Mrss
You''re still a young thing at 36/37.
I am already 38
23.gif
(how''d that happen?)
It took me this long to resurface, and for the amnesia to set in. I now have no memory of sleepless nights, poopy diapers and tantrums.
I only remember cute, yummy giggly babies
I had a miscarriage too in 2006, and I guess I just figured I was done.
But now I don''t know.
Some days I''m sooooooo done!
And then I see a baby.
I will work it out somehow.
I probably will regret it if I don''t, but I am worried that everything will fall apart.
So what I will be regretting might not necessarily be a reality.
Life is pretty good now. Plus, I am not so great with the sleep deprivation.
I may be at my limit here. Just b/c I want a baby does not mean I can raise 3 kids well.(just talking about me here. Many women do a great job raising many kids)
So I guess I am at a crossroad here.
My days are pretty easy. I have lots of *me* time.
And then I see a baby....

Sorry your DH is working so hard and doesn''t get to see Jake a lot. That is really hard. I hope you get that new job too!

Tacori
Thanks! I think you take great pictures too!
How is Little Miss Tessa these days?

Burk
Still (over)thinking the baby thing.
Hope you are all on the mend.
It is so hard to take care of a sick baby when you are sick too.

lili~Thanks!

Tgal~I can totally relate to the not eating thing...even prior to the flu Tayva has become quite the picky eater as of late. So annoying especially since she's only 45th percentile for weight and off the charts for height!

snlee~Thanks! Your avatar is so stinking cute!! That's great that you got giggles! Baby giggles are the best!

35.gif
Hi Jas!! I can't even imagine how crazy things must be with two babies and moving! You are moving, right? Didn't you just buy a house?

Janine~I know how hard it is to go back to work! It's so hard, but you will get into a routine and it will get easier. I'm not full time and it's still hard to balance at times! You have a lot of extra going on, too, with the house and just getting back into the "work" routine of getting up and getting ready (unless you're not like me and actually got out of your PJ's every day while home on maternity leave
27.gif
). Hang in there!

Jas12~How was your b-day celebration? When would you have to go back to work? No luck finding part time? Darn it. I really like part time. I even got to choose what classes I wanted to teach! DH tried to tell me today that I need to go back to work full time to help with our house....um NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Thank goodness he was kidding! Good luck!

Tacori~I remember when your whole house had it. I remember feeling soooo terrible for you. Yea, I wasn't feeling bad enough for you because it was absolutely horrible!! Yuck. I've never had a flu that stuck around for three days. I was home from work again today. Ick.

iluv~Didn't see that cute pic!! Love it. Keep us posted on the (potential) baby progress! It was not ideal having to take care of Tayva while sick. My mom came over to help out and then she got it! I feel so horrible because now my poor dad and little brother are probably next.

Tayva is barely starting to eat again on day four of this whole flu thing. She was super fussy today (worse than the first day when she was vomiting) had a fever and didn't nap well and then screamed when I put her down for the night. She usually practically climbs out of my arms into her crib to sleep! I think she may be bothered by her top teeth. Her gums are pretty swollen and that would explain the fever. She seriously can't catch a break.

We got our pro pics done on Saturday and it went great! Here are some faves, although the first one is of James in his exersaucer.

PSJamesexersaucer01.jpg

We love this one sooo much! Outfit is 37 years old and belongs to my MIL. She had all of her sons photographed in it as well.

Look at those little toes!

Last one for now. Beautiful profile shot of our little guy. He''s so handsome. We ordered a lot of pictures and will be sending them to our families. The computer just does not give them justice though. I had to crop some of them to make them look better on here. The ones we ordered are perfect!

ProPicsProfile01.jpg

Our weekend was fun, but busy. We''ll have a busy day tomorrow too because DH''s aunt is hosting a Longaberger party and we''re going to use our 15% BRU coupon to get a carseat for my car and move the Britax to MIL''s van. Work has been crazy....I need to get to bed! Will catch up soon.

Diva

Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes.

I ended up taking half day off from work for CNY, and I am exhausted from all the visitors. Here''s a pic of M in a CNY outfit. It''s not the outfit that I was talking about; I am saving that outfit for the weekend when we go visit people. But this outfit is very cute too (if I have to say so myself). The hat and shoes are made by my co-worker as gifts when we had the one month celebration. The vest was given to M by SIL on CNYE.

Will catch up tomorrow.

CNY_meena.jpg

Burk--my b-day was great thanks, i actually did my hair. nails, wore a cute dress and had a martini! I felt carefree...for a night
3.gif
2.gif
My sister took lots of pics b/c she said quote "you look so relaxed" . That was courtesy of the martini!
Teaching jobs are SO hard to come by around here, i''ll keep looking until march but it''s not looking promising. So nice that you got the option to choose your classes! Lucky.
How are you guys all feeling today?

Diva--what precious pictures! They turned out great. I love the one in the old outfit--very neat!

Qtie--oh my goodness-that is an *adorable* outfit! Happy CNY to you!!

MrsS. Co''s stats were weight: 21 lbs and length: just under 29 inches. I can''t remember his head circ.
I must say, Chicago and San fran are the 2 cities that appeal to me most. It would be great to meet with you!! The only thing about the Chicago session is that it isn''t until october!

Jas-you can''t tease us with a drive-by post. How are the boys doing??

Snlee--yay for giggles--best sound ever!

iluv--we hope to start building as soon as the ground thaws. That could be as early as march or as late as may. It''s exciting!

I let Co watch baby einstein yesterday (he was too sick to do much else) he LUVED it. Suddenly i was invisible. Now i know what Tacori and Burk are talking about when they say Yo Gabba Gabba is like baby crack
3.gif

burk- i hope you guys get better today. poor little T. To answer your question about my kids liking it here..they actually do. both girls love their schools and I am honestly happy with the programs they are in. they do miss my mom a ton because they were used to seeing her all the time. we have told them that we want to move back and they are excited about that too. kids are kids, they can adjust anywhere when they are still so young.

diva-love the pro pics!! you all are a beautiful family

jas12- too funny about Co and the baby einstein. my girls loved them when they were little. I haven''t let Jake watch one yet but I''m sure he''ll love it too. It sounds like Co and Jake are about the exact same size. October is actually a nice month to be in Chicago, it''s not too cold yet. But, you might want to pick a warmer place since you''re in the cold so much of the year.

Burk, I think I had the flu for 6 days. It was horrible! Hope yours is much quicker!

iluv, I think if you will regret not having a third you should seriously consider it.

Jas, if you are reading this I think my spring trip to WI won''t involve a trip to chicago since it is around easter but I am staying for a longer time in Aug. for my sister''s wedding. I would love to meet you!

Diva, cute pictures.

Q, happy CNY! You and M look adorable!

Jas12, sounds like you had a great birthday! I don''t think TV is all evil. I think in moderation it has its place (if not for her, for MY sanity!)

MrsS, I moved when I was 5, no big deal. The move when I was 14 was more of an adjustment. Good luck with the Nashville job!!!

Tessa is as crazy as ever. She actually did something really smart yesterday. I was reciting one of her favorite books and she ran over to the toy bin, grabbed it and handed it to me!
6.gif
Probably just dumb luck. Haha. I was still impressed. She is LOVING her ball pit. I bought 750 *more* balls so she slides, throws, kicks them. She is such a tomboy. She also will give her stuff animals (yo gabba gabba of course!) a kiss when I ask her and she makes the "Mwaa" sound. So funny.

Diva~Cute pics!

QT~Adorable pic of the two of you. She''s getting so big.

Jas12~Your birthday sound like fun! So glad you were able to cut loose and "relax." You deserve it! Do they do any job-sharing at your school? Like you could take on half your class load and another teacher the other half? That stinks that it''s hard to come by teaching jobs. Also fortunate you have one to come back to I guess! I cannot wrap my brain around 1 year of maternity leave considering we only have 6 weeks here!! It was hard being home for 10 weeks...I cannot imagine how hard it''ll be for you after a year. I''ll be praying that you find a part time opportunity!! Oh, and Tayva doesn''t watch "Yo Gabba Gabba" unless she''s doing a breathing treatment (5 minutes) usually but this weekend we probably watched all 14 episodes we have DVRed because she was sick and just wanted to lay around. It''s crazy the effect it has on her!

mrss~That''s good that the kids are doing well. I just asked because I can imagine how miserable it must be for you not liking it, but if you had kids coming home from school and hating it there it would just make it that much worse. We moved a lot when I was young and I wouldn''t trade my experiences for anything! Hope your job comes through!!

Tacori~6 days?!?!? Oh my. I''m back at school today but I still don''t feel good. I just needed to get back. Poor Tayva isn''t herself yet either, but I think that could be the teeth finally coming through. Sounds like Miss Tessa is a smarty pants! So cute that she makes the sound with the kisses!

Better get back to work....so much to do since I was gone for two days!!

qt M is such a cutie in her outfit.

diva james is so handsome and your family is stunning.

jas12 B loves his baby einstein. he actually learns a ton from it. when ever we are in the car, i turn it on for him to watch. and when he gets bored at home, i also turn it on then. glad to hear that your birthday was a blast!

tacori T sounds adorable. glad she is loving her ball pit. we had a play date the other day and the ball pit was the 1 toy everyone played with. cute that she''s making kissing sounds now. is she puckering up now too? no more wet kisses? B''s been a kissing machine lately, esp with so much family coming around for CNY.

burk how''s T doing?

QT--

what a cute outfit!
Can you post a closeup of that -- especially her hat.
And you look great.

Diva--
Great family pictures.
I love the one with you and James -- he''s got such a cute smile going.
I also love the one of him sitting against the taupe bg with his dad''s outfit -- just adorable.

burk and tacori- thanks for the job well wishes. it''s just a waiting game now. I have an interview for a job here tomorrow and won''t know if I will even get called for an interview for the nashville job until the end of next week. Then if i get offered the job here I''m going to have to decide whether to take it or see if I can hold them over until I interview and see if I get the nashville job or just decline b/c I really do want to go home and wouldn''t want to take a job only to quit in a few weeks when something else did become available. but, i might not even get offered the job here so I''m not crossing any bridges until I get there.

tacori-i''ve got to check out getting Jake a ball pit..heck i bet my girls would love it too..tessa just sounds so adorable.

Tacori--
Wow, 750 more balls?
How many balls are there total?
That ballpit must put the commercial ballpit to shame
5.gif

I gotta see a picture of T in it!
So when is that going to be huh?

ooo, I second lili''s request for a picture of Tessa in the ballpit!!

I third it! I''m sure it''s so cute!

Burk, poor T. Hope she gets better soon!

Diver, great family pictures!

QT, what a cute outfit! I think M is starting to look more like you now.

puffy, how is B doing?

I can''t believe I have a 4 month old! D''s 4 month check up is later today so I''ll be back later with stats.
