Tacori--yep, we all want a ball bit picture. Do the balls stay in the pit or are you running after them constantly?

Burk--i am in a specialty program so i can''t job-share, otherwise that would be a good idea. I think i just have to bite the bullet and see how it goes full time. hopefully i''ll jsut get pregnant again and then i can leave for another year.
I just PVRed some yo gabba gabba for ''emergencies only'' -ha. It''s good to have on back up. I was always allowed to watch hours of TV when sick so i think that will be my stance as well (with a little in moderation when he gets older)

Crazy story about the 7 (+ 1 suprise) babies born today eh?!! Wow, could you imagine!!!
6.gif
Apparently she plans to BF them all
6.gif
6.gif
Good on her, i guess she can just pump what she can and supplement the rest, but still, it''s nuts.
Don''t know if anyone has heard of the Dionne Quints? They were the first Quintuplets known to survive--born in 1934, all pretty girls and identical. Their tiny home (which is now a museum) is just minutes from my own. My grandmother actually worked selling popcorn on the property where they grew up--they were sadly put on display and ppl came from around the world to see them. They were a bigger attraction than niagara falls! Imagine how remarkable they would have been at that time, before fertility drugs, hospitals, incubators or formula (they were fed with donated breastmilk). My grandmother said the midwives put them in the stove for the northern winter
6.gif

Don''t know why i felt the need to share that--lol--just struck me as amazing for a minute there...

Tacori
The play date sounds fun, especially with the DHs. I kept mentioning to our friends that we should get together. Our babies are still a little too young to really play together, but I kind of just want to get together with other mommies/couples with babies. She probably thinks I am weird because we didn’t hang out with them frequently pre-baby. I wish more of my friends have babies, but most of my friends are still single.

Aww we definitely need a ball pit pic and a stuffed animal kissing pic.

iluvcarats
Glad your vision is better, and your kidney stone passed.

Just curious about how your DH feels about having #3. DH’s best friend has an 8 yrs old and his wife wants another baby (preferably girl), but he doesn’t want one. He is done with having a baby/toddler around; he doesn’t want to go through that stage again (having his time around the baby).

Love the pic of your DD in her Chinese outfit. So adorable.

MrsS
Good luck with the job.

Hopefully you can work out some ways for DH to spend time with Jake. Or did his bedtime go back to normal.

Jas12
Hope you will find something part-time. Go back to work after a year with Co must be hard.

SF appeals most to me b/c I miss living in the Bay Area. Hehe. I second lili on making a mini vacay in Orlando.

Tgal
Yay for Amelia’s top tooth.

I am curious why your pedi is so concerned with A not crawling if she has strong leg and abs muscles. Do you know?

snlee
Giggles and laughs are the best. It just keeps getting better and better.

I always think M looked like me. Hehe. Yesterday when DH’s aunts were over, they were saying they couldn’t tell who M looks like yet. So I showed them my baby pic (the one I posted on here before) and then they says oh yeah she looks like mommy. Hehe.

What’s D’s 4 months stats?

Janine
It’s hard having two working parents, but we are lucky that we get home by 5pm everyday. So we still get to spend a good amount of time with M. I don’t get to see her before I go to work though since she is still sleeping, but that’s a trade-off. Hopefully you will settle into a schedule soon.

Burk
How is Tayva? Did her teeth come in?

M IS getting big. It was like yesterday when she was a tiny little newborn.

Diva
Gorgeous family you got there. I love the family tradition outfit.

Jas
Hope the boys are giving you a break sometimes. =P

lili
Maybe I’ll take a pic of the outfit.

Does J like getting the red envelops?

M is going to have her 6 months appt this Friday, and then we’ll start solids. I give her a little piece of tofu and porridge the other day when I was eating. She seems to be ready for solids. So hopefully it’ll go well.

Here''s a close-up for lili.

closeup_CNY_outfit.jpg

qt- that picture is priceless!!!

I thought I posted a ball pit pic? No? I need to take better ones b/c NOW she really gets into it. I need a video of it. So funny.

Burk, she also makes the "hahhh" sound after she drinks from her sippy (like on those old coke commercials). She will give her dolls kisses on commands but not people
15.gif
She is stingy with them. She has started wrestling. Has T? She will JUMP on me if I am laying on the floor. Tomboy.

puffy, no pucker. Does B? They are wet and sloppy but I still love them. The ball pit seems to have universal appeal. Even my friend''s 7 month old seemed to like sitting it in. It is so colorful so maybe that is why. B sounds so sweet.

MrsS, my target still had the one I bought for $22 (but be prepared to shell out a lot of the balls!) I hope you get to Nashville!

lili, it only came with 25 which is PATHETIC since it is 5 feet long. I guess it is more for playing soccer than a ball pit. Not sure. So now it has 775 and it could use more honestly. They aren''t bad, 250 for $25 at TRU. But still adds up.

snlee, I can''t believe D is 4 months either!

Jas12, it''s not bad b/c there are "goals" with nets on each side and it is up against a wall. So there is only one open area. Balls do get out but it has never been out of control...yet...

Q, it was fun. I agree, even now they don''t play much together. At M''s age it is more for the moms for sure. But it is fun to swap war stories. M is so cute!

Diva
You have a beautiful family!
Your pro pics are fantastic!
I love the one with James in his dad''s baby outfit

QT
M is such a doll in her CNY outfit, and I love her little hat!
Glad you had a good bday. You are so pretty and young looking, I would never believe that you are 30.
My DH is on board with whatever I decide. He is very supportive of whatever I do, so I am lucky.
That would be really hard to want a child and not have your husband''s support. I feel badly for your friend.
7.gif

Jas12
I am very excited for you! Please keep us updated on your project.
We are in NY not to far from you, and I know what you mean. The ground might thaw in March, but that doesn''t mean we won''t get snow in May
14.gif

Tacori
I am thinking and thinking. Tomorrow I have a CT to rule out some stuff, and if everything looks good and healthy, then we shall see
28.gif

Such cute Tessa stories! Keep them coming. It always amazed me how me love grows for them. Just when you think you can''t possibly love them more, somehow it happens. And keeps happening
1.gif

Burk
Sorry you are still feeling yucky. The flu just sucks!
14.gif

I hope you start feeling much better soon.

Puffy
My kids loved baby einstein too!

Mrs.s
I hope your job interviews go well.
Sending tons of dust your way.

Hi to everyone
35.gif
that I might have missed

snlee B is doing well, thanks for asking. he''s still working on some molars which are a pain, but other than that, he''s a fun kid. hope you and your family had a good CNY.

tacori B puckers up and makes the kissing face and the "muah" sounds. it''s pretty cute. and his kisses are not wet, which is nice. T is just so adorable.

iluv hope your CT goes well!

lili how is J doing? did you guys have a good CNY?

D''s 4 month check up was stressful for me. D was crying for most of it so I was trying to calm him down while the pedi was examining him and answering our questions. I think D was tired plus he got another round of shots. Poor guy. Pedi said D has a temper - his cries are SO loud! Sometimes it''s ear piercing shrieking cries. When people hear him crying loudly, they are always shocked. I''m actually relieved to know all babies are not like this. Hopefully next time around, we''ll have a calmer baby. After the appointment D took a 3 hour nap! He hasn''t slept that long during the day in awhile!

D is 25th percentile for head, 60th percentile for length, and 50th percentile for weight. Although, that''s for regular boys. Pedi said for preemies, his weight would be at around 75th, and for Asians, he''s way up there (90th?). Babies usually double their birth weight at 5.5 months (6 months for preemies) and at 4 months, D is already well past double his birth weight, so that''s great! Pedi keeps saying that D will be a big boy! We''ll see! He''s also very strong, according to the pedi his leg strength is at 6 months.

Since D is showing interest in food, we could start giving him solid food in a few weeks. I want to hold off until around 6 months though. When did you start giving your baby solid food?

snlee poor you and poor D!! but you made it
1.gif
B practically doubled his birth weight by 2 months..SCARY, i know! but he also wasn't a preemie. his weight gain will slow way down in a few months. we gave b rice cereal a bit after 4 months, almost 5 months actually. and we started solid after 6 months. it might take him a bit to get used to the rice cereal consistency, but i'm sure he'll take to it.
have you started putting him in the bumbo or similar? i'm sure he'll love it if he doesn't already.
glad to hear that everything is ok with D. sounds like he's eating like a champ!

when do you go back to work? i would love to get together with you and D, but it has been so crazy around here...i'm trying to clean the closet so that the people can come work on it, and organize everything. and B is an armful, who has not been napping very well cause of his molars.

SNLEE: Chloe's 4 mo appointment is supposed to be today--we'll see with all the snow we got today though. Sounds like D is doing really well growth wise--I'm so curious about Chloe. Sorry D had such a tantrum--looks like he already has a feisty personality! Out of curiousity why do you want to hold off food until 6mo's and how is D showing interest in food? Where is he developmentally (rolling, sitting in bumbo, etc?). Sorry for all the questions, but just curious. How's the sleep routine going?

Chloe is doing well these past few weeks. She's been going to sleep around 9 and waking up at 5ish for bottle then back to sleep till 9. I don't get home till 730/8, so I treasure that hour with her so haven't been trying to get her to bed earlier. But like clockwork at 9, she's fussy so I know it's bedtime. She isn't really trying to roll over though, so I guess I need to try to work on that. She is seeming like a mellow baby now that's she's sorted through some of the earlier fussiness: alot of looking around quietly, smiling and soft talking. She gets startled easily...like if I laugh out of the blue...she is a sensitive little thing! She laughs quite a bit, especially when I first come home. I don't know if it's because she can't believe it's really me or what!

Anyway, while I'm here I was wondering if I could pick some ladies' brains on suggested brands for a few items:

1) rice cereal
2) jumparoo and high chair (I know it's early, but just curious)

Thanks! I'll post again once I find out her stats at her pedi appointment, but writing here about her is making me miss her!
emunlove.gif

Snlee--i started solids around 5 months and i too wanted to hold off till the 6 month mark, but like anything baby related, these things are mostly guidelines (food is a little different b/c there are concerns of the maturity of the digestive track) but a few weeks ahead of schedule is not a huge difference. Co took to his food instantly so that was my cue to ''proceed''. Showing interest in food is supposed to be a big indicator of readiness.

Janine--we have a fisher price jumperoo and use it daily for a few minutes. Co won''t stay in it for as long as he used to, but i think it is a good toy.
As for rice cereal, i think the only major things you have to look for is iron and that it is single grain to start with (some are mixed with fruit and other grains)
I choose a brown-rice organic cereal from president''s choice (i think this is a canadian brand). From what i have read, it is still advised to start with single-grain, iron fortified cereal b/c it is easy to digest and prepare, but several of my books say that mild fruits and veg are also acceptable first foods. Mushed avacado was Co''s first veg and he loved it!

Hi Mommies, I have not had much time to be around here posting but try to keep up with what''s going on, well...at least the pictures. they are soooo cute. incredible.

I am looking for Burk or any other mommies with reflux babies. Tyler, my 5 week old has been having bad reflux symptoms. It is so hard to watch. I feel terrible for him and wish there was more that I could do to help him. He started on zantac on Saturday, with a very low dose. We increased the dose and I think it''s helping although I am not really sure. I think I remember your daughter slept in the swing alot. I was looking for a wedge for him to sleep on and i was wondering if you ever used one? Also, how long did you guys go through this before you started trying to change formulas or your diet. I''m feeling like maybe I need to adjust my diet(I am breastfeeding) but I am not sure if I should let the zantac have a chance to work first? Just wanted to hear what you guys did as I can''t remember the whole thing.

Thanks in advance for any advice or info you guys have. I can''t believe that this feels more stressful than his surgery to me. I just feel helpless and so sad for him.

hope everyone is doing well and hopefully I will be able to contribute more later :)

puffy~Cute new avi! T isn't doing so well. She now has a major ear infection! Seriously, the girl cannot catch a break!

mrss~Keep us posted!

snlee~Thanks. Crazy that D is already 4 months old!! We started cereal at 4 months and she didn't have much interest at first so I just kept trying every few days and all of a sudden one day after a week or so she LOVED it. We then went to some veggies and fruits just after 5 months. I always mixed her fruit in with her cereal. We'll need pics!

Jas12~Shoot on the job sharing! What specialty program are you in? Another pregnancy will have you out again for another year and get you another cute kid so I like that plan!
41.gif

QT~Tayva isn't doing so well...ear infection and no teeth although her gums are uber swollen! I feel like it was yesterday that M was a newborn too. They just grow up so fast! Love the bigger pic!

Tacori~That's hilarious! Our T gives kisses to dolls on command also. Hers are still super slimy but I still love them! I think both our T's are going to be tomboys! Tayva tries to wrestle with us and our huge chocolate lab, too!!

iluv~Thanks! I know you all can relate to sick with kids!

Janine~Jas12's said almost exactly what I was going to say. I also buy organic brown rice. At our Walmart there is a Walmart brand that makes it and Gerber also has brown organic.

pave~I am soooo sorry poor Tyler has relux symptoms!! I don't have a ton of time because DH has to go back to work and then I'm on sick kid duty, but wanted to say a few things really quickly. First, you need to start adjusting your diet. Sorry, I know it sucks, but what he's eating is directly related to reflux. I would start by cutting out dairy, as it's the most common trigger. Tayva's GI doctor says that it takes a week to see any change so if you're not patient enough to do one food group at a time, you can cut out the top three right away: dairy, soy and wheat. I did the total elimination and only ate pears, turkey and greens for a week because I didn't have the patience to do one at a time. It was miserable, I won't lie, but if he starts to do better it'll be well worth it! I'll come back with more! *Hugs*

janine wow, 4 months already!!! on rice cereal, i gave B earth''s best organic iron fortified single grain. i think we started out with rice cereal, then waited and gave him the other grains after a bit. the jumperoo is an awesome toy!! B loved his up until about 6 months, so ours didn''t get as much use, but he did love it when he used it.

burk thanks! poor girl!!! it is just one thing after the other with her. i really hope she gets a much deserved break from all this soon! i feel so bad for her.

pave good to see you around here. i''m so sorry that Tyler has reflux. poor baby

QT--
Nah, no need to take a picture of the outfit.
The outfit is cute....but it''s the model closeup that I wanted to see
5.gif

She''s a QT just like mommy
41.gif

J grabbed those envelops like a champ, then she proceed to eat them
20.gif

Jas12--
That is crazy. I wonder how it feels to have a litter in there.
She must feel punches and kicks every inch of her belly.

Tacori--
Oh, they did have that one on sale at the Target that I went to -- I should have nabbed it.
Nah, the thought of chasing all those balls (even if it''s just 25) is not how I''d like to spend my day.
That is pretty pathetic how many balls they give for a setup that long.
I''m surprised that 775 still doesn''t fill up the pit. How big are the balls?

iluvcarats--
Don''t think I''ve commented on your Ava in her chinese outfit.
She''s too cute.
30.gif
30.gif
those chubby cheeks and that dark brown hair!

snlee--
Can''t believe you have a 4month old either.
D sounds like he''s a big boy.
I think his monthly picture is due, no?
41.gif

Poor baby...one more dose to go and he gets a break for a while.

We started J on single grain oats (rice cereal) at 4 months.
Then slowly introduce the others after 6 months.
Since D is showing interest (ie, looking at you guys when you are eating and trying to grab your food),
you can definitely start him on rice cereal.
I made mine really liquidly the first few feedings (3 to 1 ratio of milk to cereal).

puffy--
B looks so big in your new avi.
Is that at a Lakers game?
We had a good CNY.
How about yourself and B?
Did he enjoy collecting his red envelopes?

janine--
Sounds like Chloe has a pretty sleep routine for the night.
Awwwee...that''s so cute. See, she knows who her mommy is.
Doesn''t that just melt your heart to see her laughing with delight at the sight of you?
We just got the Gerber''s rice cereal.
Don''t have a high chair -- instead we got the portable booster chair one.
We fed J in her bouncer initially before she can sit on her own.

Pavelover--
So sorry to hear that Tyler has reflux.
J had slight reflux when she was younger.
I just held her upright for 20-30 minutes after each feedings before laying her down.
I hope he grows out of it soon.

Can''t believe Tyler is 5wk already.
When are you going to let us see him?

Burk--
Poor Tayva
8.gif

Is her top teeth coming in?
I know J was miserable when her upper 2 were making their way in.
The stress of that and of course the endless string of colds gave her an ear infection as well.
Hope Tayva recovers quickly.

puffy, 2 months!? wow! D''s weight gain has already slowed down. He only gained a little over a pound in 2 months! I thought it was too little but I guess he''s on track. We haven''t put D in a bumbo. I''m sure he would love it as he loves sitting on my lap or propped up against a pillow but I don''t think I''m going to buy one since it''s not a necessity. We do need to get a hair chair. Any recommendations? I go back to work in a few weeks. When will your closet organization be completed? Maybe when you''re not so busy organizibg and B is feeling better and back to regular naps we can meet up.

janine, since D was a preemie, I want to wait until he''s around 6 months. He seems content with just breast milk, so no need to complicate his life with solids. Also, I''m not ready! I can''t believe my baby is ready to start eating solid food! Nursing him has been so convenient. I need to start reading about starting solid foods and buy stuff! I am glad you asked about rice cereal and high chair, as I need recommendations too. He''s showing readiness mainly by looking at us when we are eating and looking and trying to grab our food. Also his birth weight has doubled, he can hold his head up well, and can sit pretty well. Aww, that''s sweet that Chloe laughs when you get home. Sounds like she''s doing really well sleeping! Last night D was awesome! Slept at 9, up at 10 for feeding, fell asleep by himself after he smiled, cooed, and giggled for a little while, slept till 7. Yay! It has been awhile since he has slept that long. Prior to last night he was waking up once for a feeding in the middle of the night. Can''t wait to hear about Chloe''s appointment.

jas12, thanks. I'll look for brown-rice organic cereal. I guess it's good D is starting to show interest in food. We'll start out with rice cereal in a month or so and see how it goes.

pave, sorry to hear Tyler has bad reflux. Hope it gets better. Hugs to you! I'd love to see pictures of Tyler when you get a chance.

Burk, thanks. We plan to start will rice cereal. We'll be sure to take video and lots of pictures and I'll post one!

lili, how funny J tried to eat her red envelopes. I'm sure D will do that next year. It as fun collecting red envelopes for him this year. Haha. Thanks for the solid food advice. We'll start out with rice cereal in a month or so and see how it goes.

puffy, forgot to say, B looks so big in your new avi! He's adorable.

per lili''s request, here are D''s mr. bear pictures.

I don''t think I ever posted his 3 month picture, so here it is.

bear0173.jpg

and his 4 month picture, taken a few days ago.

bear0746.jpg

snlee OMG!!! D is so big and what a handsome guy he is becoming! he just makes me giggle with his crazy hair..i love it
30.gif
30.gif

for rice cereal, we started off with earth''s best rice cereal and it seemed to go fine and for solids we also gave him earth''s best organic baby food and some gerber organic baby food as well. we have the boon flair as well for high chair, but if you don''t want to spend so much, i hear the fisher price high chairs are good. they also have that portable one that we use for restaurants that can be used for the home as well.

lili yup, the picture is form the lakers game. B had a good CNY, he got a ton of red envelopes. when people gave it to him, he automatically looked for me and gave them to me. haha!!! i''ve got him trained pretty well. heehee. he only did that because the night before, i was getting red envelopes ready to give to people, and he took some and i asked for them back, so i guess he assumed that he HAD to give them to me. funny that J tried to eat them. next year, maybe she''ll be giving them to you instead
2.gif

snlee--
Eeee....OMG, the 4th month is too much.
Love those pouty lips and that hair gets me every time.
Bet you and DH are having a blast trying to style it huh?
D is getting so big and is becoming such a handsome little guy.
A real big change from his 3 month to 4 month.

puffy--
like i said before, she puts just about everything in her mouth except food!
ha, by that time, she may understand what the red envelopes are and decide to keep 'em herself.

snlee-oh I totally LOVE the pics of D with Mr. Bear. you really can see how his is getting bigger!! he''s such a cutie pie!!

Pave~Here is a site that has a bunch of great info about reflux. Make sure you go to the link on food intollerances as well because from what our GI doc tells us they very often go hand-in-hand. Link I would suggest changing your diet and doing the zantac and then seeing if there''s any improvement in a week and if not, make a new plan. Tayva did not respond to zantac. So, there''s always the option of trying a different medication, you can also try formula that doesn''t have milk/soy (I can help you with names of formulas if you choose to do that) to give him a break from those proteins in your breast milk. There are a few things that you can try. I''m happy to help in any way! Also, I saw a doctor that specializes in breast feeding. She was A LOT of help with the reflux/food intollerance issue. Oh, and about the wedge, I used a sleep positioner and folded an extra blanket and put it under the one end so she was upright and we did almost all naps in her swing so she was upright.

puffy~She really hasn''t had an easy road. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in and she''ll be back to her old self tomorrow.

lili~Her top teeth haven''t broken through but her gums are super swollen. I think the combo of flu, teeth and ear infection is pretty miserable for the poor girl! I find it so funny that all the other babies have all these teeth and Miss Tayva has two!
41.gif
Is J taking more steps?

snlee~I''ll be looking for those pics!
2.gif
What sweet pics of D and the bear!! I love his hair!
30.gif

Have pics from T''s birthday finally downloaded so I''ll be back to post those in a minute!

Here she is with her cake.

Anyone else want cake?

And, trying to drink her aunt''s soda!

Hi Ladies. Hope everyone is having a great night. It''s quiet here as Tyler is napping...

Burk, thank you so much for all the info. I read the info in the link, but it was an attachment. Is there a website you visit? It sounds like you found a great dr. My pediatrician is taking care of us so far, and my friend is a gi nurse practitioner for kids. She is recommending cutting out dairy too, but I am being stubborn about it. Apparently, cardiac surgery kids get reflux after the surgery. they are not sure why exactly but it happens alot. I don''t know if that changes anything about him having trouble with my diet or not...It seems like he has some happier periods on the zantac so I think I see improvement. He is not a vomiter, but just screams in pain at times, and also has really bad gas- I read that reflux kids can have gas/diarrhea somewhere else, and then in your link just now. poor kid. He hadn''t smiled in a few days and now I have seen him smile yesterday and today so I am thinking he feels a little better. He is eating great and gaining weight, luckily, but my friend said sometimes they eat alot because it feels better to eat. It is so confusing. He never had much of a "schedule" since he just got home a couple of weeks ago and was on an ng tube and bolus feeds. I didn''t get to see exactly what he would have been like if that makes sense. So now we just feed him all the time- he doesn''t really last 3 hours very frequently, and sometimes he only takes 20 mls at a time or eats over like an hour to take 2-3 oz. And that will be with lots of crying inbetween(sometimes).
He doesn''t sleep so well either, but I know he is only a newborn. we are bottle feeding him breast milk and i am breast feeding sometimes. I went to a lacation consultant and she told me to go easy on myself and only breastfeed during the day when I am feeling good and not stressed out. she is really nice. I hope it doesn''t backfire as I would like to breastfeed full time eventually. I learned how to get him to latch really well from her but he still breaks off maybe becuase of the pain? ugghhh.
thanks for "listening" and thanks for all of the info. I appreciate it.
did you go back to breastfeeding? did you reintroduce the foods when it didn''t make a difference for Tavya? Is she on meds now? Her birthday pics are totally adorable. thanks again Burk.

Puffy, Lili and Snlee, thanks for the sympathy on the little guy. Hopefully he will improve quickly(fingers crossed). Lili I am glad that j grew out of it quick. that is great news. I do try to hold Tyler upright but I think his happens alot because he does lots of other things that show can be symptoms of reflux, like gulping air, crying, arching, arching and turning his head, and he also had lots of gurgles in his throat which could be reflux but the pedi also said it could have been irritatation from being intubated. It does not seem straightforward.

Seriously all of your kids pictures are soooo darn cute. I have not been good about taking pictures since we got out of the hospital. Im gonna have to work harder on that cause his grandparents live far away and they are asking for pictures too.
take care everyone :)

Burk, T is so cute! What a beautiful big girl you have! I love your new avatar!

Diva, oops, I just noticed I called you Diver earlier! Great family pictures, DIVA!

Diver, Jen, and LIA, hope you and your kids/babies are doing well! Check in when you can.

Where do you buy bibs? Carters has small bibs that seem geared towards smaller babies. BRU seems to have only velco ones. I like the snaps. Where can I get good quality cute bibs for bigger babies?

Pave~I can totally relate and am here to *listen* whenever you need me!! I also liked this link about a "hurting baby." When I originally read it I was like "this is my kid" and it was so relieving. Tayva didn't spit up or vomit much, either. She did the screaming and arching like Tyler and also had bad gas...oh, and more hiccups than any child should have!
2.gif
We did gripe water as well since it's natural and couldn't hurt....not sure if it helped much but just something else to try. It's good that he's still gaining and that you see some improvement with the zantac. We didn't see any improvement when I eliminated all those foods and Tayva did much better on formula...as in she would have an immediate reaction when I would try and re-introduce breastmilk-so I ended up just switching her to formula. I now think I probably just still had traces of her food intollerances in my milk and that's why she continued to react(her doc said it can take weeks to get some of those proteins out of your breastmilk). She eventually grew out of all of her intollerances (we figured out she was intollerant to milk, soy and corn) as well as the reflux and now at the age of one is drinking whole milk and has been off the prilosec since 10 months. There is a light at the end of the tunnel I promise!!! Oh, and another thing you could do is feed him a formula that doesn't have dairy protein or one that has it broken down really well (like Elecare or Alimentum) and you could just pump without changing your diet in the meantime and then if he does really well on the formula you could assume that it's because of the dairy and then you could cut out the dairy? Keep me posted on your progress!! We need a pic too!

Thanks. I think I look 30. hehe.
It''s awesome that your DH is supportive.
I feel bad for my friend too. We told her to drug him. LOL.

Brady looks so mature in your new avi. Is that a Lakers jersey?
So funny that he gave you his red envelops. He probably won''t next year.

Sounds like D is doing great.
The 4 months pic is just too cute. The hair is a riot.
Carter''s have bigger size bibs. I got some for M at the outlet. This is the bibs set I got; it was $5.99 at the outlet. I posted a pic of M wearing one of the bib, so you can get an idea of the size. I also saw them at Macy''s, but they were MSRP price ($17.99) there.

How did Chloe''s 4 months appt go?
It''s so sweet that she laughs when you get home.
I still haven''t start solids for M. My pedi specifically said no solids until 6 months. It''s b/c their digestive system is not fully developed yet.
We are going to get the Fisher Price jumperoo, and we have the boon flair like Tacori. Don''t know if M will like either one.

No advice, but hope Tyler reflux gets better.
It''s tough watching your baby in pain. Just know that you are doing great.
