OK, I''m a dork, I bought frozen. I never bought freeze dried fruit before. Do you buy at TJ''s or at the regular market?Date: 4/6/2009 5:27:02 PM

Hehe, A probably just stared at the cake placed in front of her huh?
I can tell you that J will go hogwild w/ the cake. She just loves mushing everything in sight.
She''ll pick it up very cautiously and then squeeze her hand really fast and tight over it just to see the food ooze out of her fingers
Makes for a very very messy eater.
Re: food.
J seems to like the same thing A does (cheerios, puffs, yogurt, string cheese, avocado).
So A might like the freeze-dried (not frozen) mango and strawberry.
Hmm...another thing you might want to try is udon. We gave J some when we took her out and she was eating it faster than I can feed her.
Don''t know how nutritious udon is, but it''s probably not that bad since it is made of wheat.
I gave J some whole milk this pass weekend, just to see if she''s allergic to milk.
Put it in the cup w/ a straw like her milk and water. She seems to know if it''s water or milk since she looks at the cup to see what it is before drinking it.
She took a few sips and that was it. Don''t know if she''s full or didn''t like it.
We''ll see.
I don''t know about the association w/ putting whole milk in a bottle, but I''d probably put it in a sippy just because I''d want to wean her of the bottle eventually.
OK, I looked for them, but couldn''t find it. Is there sugar added? I''m trying to stay away from sugar added.Date: 4/6/2009 5:35:09 PM

Yeah, at TJ''s.
I''ve tried the blueberries, strawberries, and mango.
She luvs the strawberries and mango (the mango is really sweet....hubby and I actually finished the bag when we said that we''ll taste it first for J )
I hope she''s ok with them.
She didn''t get any rash (around her mouths and upper body -- can''t say everywhere since she''s got rashes on her legs -- which I think is just her eczema) or diarrheas when she eat those thing.
How do you prepare your eggs?
Hardboiled or scrambled?

I take one egg, add whole milk and lightly wisk. I use a small pat of salted butter (although I may switch to unsalted, but the salted adds nice flavor without adding additional salt) to grease the pan and then scramble up the eggs. It's actually pretty good. Amelia didn't love it, but she ate it. I figure the girl needs all the fat and calories she can get, hence the butter too.
Woo HOO! Now why did I know you were going to cave and get it? Seems like you had your heart set on it. Plus I LOVE that color...it is my fave one. I didn''t have the option when I bought them in Oz. Can be used for a boy or a girl and it''s just a sweet stroller. I''ll bet you will be able to sell that one at a premium too - not too many of those floating around.Date: 4/6/2009 8:42:44 PM

Attention friends...introducing T''s new ride!
Well, double check it and let me know. I think mine is pretty upright. If it is fully upright and she still doesn''t like it, I can''t imagine it would be a terrible thing to use a little cushion or something to prop her upright. It''s not like it''s a carseat or something.Date: 4/6/2009 9:47:00 PM

TGal, loves how it pushes. Love it. LOVE the color! It is so freaking cute. I should have gotten it a year ago. Oh well. I am worried about the recline. Hopefully I don''t have it on the most upright b/c I could tell it bothered her. She kept trying to sit up. Otherwise hopefully she will get used to it. It is heavy but will sit most of the time open in my garage. REI is awesome BTW. Put it together AND showed me how to use it.
