btw lili, is that you? It's the closest I think we have come to seeing your face and if it is you, you're so cute!

Hehe, thanks...but I don't think I really look like that.
It's just a good angle of me.

Oh, yeah, we'll take J to BrU and test drive those Britax carseats.
Thanks for the heads up on the sale.

Sippy cups...so we can start now?

I was thinking about just foregoing the bottle and let the center try the sippy cup w/ J.

Let me know how Jake takes to the sippy cup.

well, I figure why push a bottle at this point only to have to wean the bottle and move to a sippy cup. We went straight to a sippy cup with Lily and it worked great. He''s so curious about everything we eat or drink I figure I might as well take advantage of his interest. I let him drink a little water out of my glass the other day too. He spit some out but didn''t choke so I was happy

Yup, J is sitting though she doesn''t sit long since she''s always on the go.
Would you believe that she''s crawling already?
32.gif

Haven''t mastered it yet, but she''s got the mechanics of it down.
Hand forward, leg forward, then other hand and leg.
She''s really moving when she''s on the bed though.
Gave my heart a jump yesterday when I walk in to find her at the end of my bed when she woke up from her short nap.
I heard her coo and went in and there she was just looking over the edge!
Wow lili, that is impressive! Amelia is barely mastering the push up! But I have to say...I don''t mind a little more time before she begins to crawl...I am not prepared at all for that!!

I know.....I'm already having a hard time keeping her entertain.
Now I can't just flop her on the bed and floor and read PS.

Re: your nanny.
I'll let you know asap if I can work her into my schedule.

Here''s a blurry shot of her in motion

No pressure on my end. I do have some people on craigslist I''ve contacted on her behalf but haven''t heard anything yet and also have a friend who is interested. I figure, first come, first served.

lili, J is starting to crawl?? holy cow. Jake can''t move forward or backwards yet. he can turn himself in a 360 circle while on the floor and rolls both ways but that''s it. he does try and move his arms are legs and looks like he''s trying but makes absolutely no progress whatsoever. I''m not ready for him to crawl just yet...my little baby is growing up too quickly.

hehe and speaking of sitting up...Jake "kinda" can sit...I was so excited and ran to get my camera so I could send a pic to all the grandparents of him "sitting" and this is the look/face he gave me...He was just not nearly as happy about "sitting up" as I was

OMG, I laughed out loud. Too cute.

LOL...that's soooo cute!
The expression on his face is priceless.

I know, they are just growing too fast.

Thought you ladies might want to see this.

My thoughts exactly.

Thanks Linda.

Figure she won''t remember the pain to hate me later

Lili--i can''t believe J is almost crawling! That is just crazy. I think Cohen was one of the first of our bunch to roll over but he hasn''t progressed since then
3.gif
. He''s no where near crawling, but like the Tgal and MrsS. i don''t think i am ready for it either so i am okay with his laziness lol. Actually i think he is held too much. He has so much family around, which is wonderful, but they are always holding him. He needs more belly time.
And yep, i packed away my nursing tanks in the first month--to be honest i didn''t like them past the 24/7 nursing stage. Now i just wear all regular bras and just pull up my shirt to nurse. I still do wear one pair of H&M skinny maternity jeans (cuz they are so comfy and stretchy--my sister even bought a pair and she''s not pregnant or planning on it) In the pic i posted i was in my gym clothes--funny actually b/c i had just come in the door at 6:30 and had to rescue charlie in the process of feeding Co dinner. The boy will only eat with me. I guess it makes sense mom has always equaled food.
And btw, you are super cute!

MrsS. That pic of jake made me laugh out loud. I bet it''s only a mater of days before he masters sitting. He''s strong!

Heh? Is this not an oxymoron????

Love all the cute baby pixs...looking at the pixs relax me at the end of a long day. All the clips are so cute~ too bad little B is missing out.

Thanks Tgal, all the props are from the photographer. We only need to bring clothes and baby. Did you find your nanny on craigslist? $12/hour is pretty good deal!

Thanks Tacori!

Thanks lili! he was actually reading the magazine. The doctor said it''s a viral infection and this rash is probably cause by the infection. Can''t believe J is already crawling, I sometime feel little B is so behind. He can only roll around and sometime do the "downward dog pose" but no sitting or crawling yet.

MrsS, Jake sits better than little B and he turn 7 months tomorrow...I''m worry now...

Here''s a close-up of J.
Such a cute photo...love the black and white plus color. Did you set that on your camera or in post production?

TGal, A''s "disguise" picture is so funny! I am so jealous of your super nanny! lili, that would be awesome if you could get the same nanny as TGal. Then I''ll be jealous of both of you!
3.gif

Bobo, that is such a cute picture of B! Hope little B feels better soon!

lili, can''t believe J is starting to crawl! She is one strong girl! I love the close up picture of J. She''s adorable! Is that an earring? When did you get her ears pierced?

MrsS, LOL at Jake''s sitting picture! How cute!

Lorelei, hopefully it will go fine. Thanks for asking. She really is a nice woman just a little overbearing. I just need to ignore some stuff because it would make my life *so* much easier!

Awww.....all the cute pics!! Lili, Tgal, Mrs S, Bobo...I love them all!!!

Tacori~Totally understand wanting to avoid the WI winters! If it works that you''re there doing my Spring Break that would be a bonus!
2.gif
If T moves into a one nap schedule maybe she''ll do a 3 hour. You can get a lot done in 3 hours! My T varies her nap schedule depending on when she gets up/goes to bed, ect. too.

lili~Whoa J is quite the mover and shaker!! Such cute pics and you are going to be chasing after that girl for years to come! T was trying to crawl from probably 5.5 months and didn''t actually "master it" until probably 6.75 mos. She still isn''t really a crawler for leisure...only uses it to get where she wants to go.

Bobo~Sorry little B is sick. You''ve had a hard road with that poor boy!

Re:sippy cups-T has always loved to just chew on hers (I started giving her water in one at around 5 mos). Especially when she was teething. She still doesn''t really get the tipping concept. Hopefully she''ll catch on because the girl loves her some water!

Funny about the maternity skinny jeans! I refuse to wear skinny jeans. EVERY sales woman tries to sell them to me....um NO thanks!

Gotta go....bell rang and new students coming.....will be back.

Whoa missed this pic! WOW! Go J!!!

I''m back. Need thoughts on this. Tayva woke up this morning at 5:30 screaming. (She usually wakes up around 7:30 HAPPY) So, I go in and pat her back and she''s still crying. I pick her up and she cuddles in and falls back asleep within seconds. I put her back in her crib and she instantly woke up and screamed again....sat up and put her arms out to me. So, I brought her to bed with me. She fell back asleep. When my alarm went off at 6:30 she didn''t wake. I picked her up and tried to put her in her crib so I could get ready. Again she wakes, sits and puts her arms out to me to pick her up. I left her and she did go back to sleep until I had to wake her to go to daycare at 7:30. Other things to consider: she went to bed later than usual last night (9:30 instead of 8ish) and she did this for a nap on Sunday and also one morning last week. I''m wondering if it may be a little separation anxiety?? Or, just weird fluke? Any thoughts appreciated.

Tgal--Ha, you are right ''skinny'' mat jeans are an oxymoron. But ya, leave it to H&M to make em. They are actually my fave jean. They aren''t skin tight and not ultra-tapered so i guess they are not a true skinny jean (i am trying too hard to justify them aren''t I?)
15.gif
2.gif

Burk--i''ve read in a few different books that babies often wake in the night when their moms have gone back to work --almost like they are getting in the cuddles when they know you are around, so maybe you are right about that. I think that typically ends in a few weeks once they are adjusted to the new routine.

Speaking of moms and attachment. Cohen is beginning to get ''momified''--sheesh. My MIL comes over each day for a quick visit and for the past 3 days he has put up a big fuss and reached for me after she has been holding him for a while. Once he gets in my arms he''s all smiles again. I thought it was a bit early for this?? He seems to be fine when i am out of the house or in another room--it''s mostly just if i am in the room and someone else has him. he''s around so many ppl all the time i am surprised he''s doing this already.

Jas12
Yup, mommy equals food and
daddy equals playtime.
At least that''s how J sees it
5.gif

Ha, have to laugh about the skinny maternity jeans -- quite an oxymoron like TGal said.
I''d probably be wearing my maternity clothes (they are so comfy and some are stylish too) if my sister didn''t need them back.

The way I see it, Co is smart to play like a baby and let people carry him from point A to B.
Now with J, she''ll have to struggle there herself :)

So how much rice cereal is Co eating?
I''m so jealous at how eager and happy he is with his cereal.
That''s great that he''s starting on his solid, that means you can have the cruise people whip up something for him.

Bobo
Don't feel like little B is behind.
From what I've heard, baby sit by 7 months.
And since little B is already doing the doggy sit, it'll be within days that he's "sitting" like Jas12 said.
Babies learn at an exceptionally fast.

So are you going to take his 1 yr photo?

Ooo....can't wait to see his halloween pictures
5.gif

Guess what?!?!? Tessa stood on her own!!!!!

6.gif
Okay, it was only for *maybe* 15 seconds and then she realized what was going on (probably when I started screaming and clapping like a crazy woman) and she grabbed back on the sofa. And DH mentioned (so glad he got to see it too!) that she was pooping at the time (we smelled it after the excitement was over) so we think she was concentrating on that so didn''t realize WHAT she was doing. I am still celebrating!

TGal
Thanks. It''s a post production. Nothing fancy.
I just B&W the entire picture and retain the color for the clip.
Got this software of the net that let you do quick photo editting for special effects.
I don''t know if you remember one of J''s earlier picture where the background were blurred?

snlee
Hehe, thanks.
Yup, that''s an earring you saw. Good eyes
41.gif

My present to her for her 5-month bday, although I don''t think she was too happy about it
and neither was her dad. He told her that morning that "mommy is taking you to get mutilated"
14.gif

I figured getting them done earlier is better, that way she won''t be able to tug at them.

Yikes!!!
Get ready to chase after her Tacori
5.gif

You and hubby must have the biggest grins on your face when you saw that.
