I need recommendation of nice all inclusive resorts for me & my hubby to stay at in Punta cana, Dr.

We just went to Punta Cana in April and we LOVED it. We stayed at a brand new 5 star all-inclusive that''s considered to be the best new one on the island - it''s called Paradisus Palma Real. We saw a couple of other resorts during our stay, and this was the nicest that we saw by far - I can''t recommend it highly enough. The staff was incredible, and the beach was paradise. The rooms were fantastic too - don''t be afraid to go for a garden view - the garden is gorgeous, with flamingoes, turtles and plumeria. The food was also very good, especially for an all-inclusive.

We got married at the Iberostar Punta Cana and got a tour of their new resort, Iberostar Grand Bavaro. It''s adults only and just beautiful! They have a swim up bar and multiple pools in addition to a ton of activities.

You will love Punta Cana! We did!

We stayed at the Majestic Elegance, which is a sister resort to Majestic Colonial. They''re next to each other, so you can even share some activities and such.

I highly recommend Majestic Colonial. However, Paradisus if glorious and quite expensive. It just depends on what your price point is. Best of luck and enjoy your vacation.

There are SOOO many. We stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace abiut 5 years aog. IT was fine. bavaro Beach is undoubtedly one of the most incredible beaches I hae eve been on. Just beautiful. Its my avatar acually.....

They all do look lovely.

My next question is how long did you guys stay?????????????

You may wnat to reconsider Punta Cana after everything that is going on in Haiti.
You never knwo how widespread disease and contaminated water can be, and there just may be too much going on in general.

If I were you I would pick another place and go to PC some other time.

you look at the Riu Palace Punta Cana hotel website because you want to get married there and it "looks" splendid... until you actually get there and there are a bunch of fat old people hanging around the gazebo watching your ceremony...

I think that happens to anyone who gets married in a public place. I know that both CNDinNYC and I had "funny" pictures of people in their swimwear in the background of some of our photos...but we can''t very well ask the resort to shut down the beach for us, KWIM?

I was married in a garden "gazebo" at my resort in Punta Cana and there were people who stopped to watch, I think it''s natural that people want to see such a beautiful thing. We received so many compliments from perfect strangers as we were setting up photos and I think that most people who book destination weddings at beach resorts know that there will be other people there. Of course the photos are "perfect", it''s an ad!

I guess I am trying to advise people to not get too caught up in the "fake-out" hype...people standing around while you are trying to get married will happen even if you do it in the park at your hometown. I know I always stop and look when I see a bride...it makes me happy to see that love is all around....
