Pure red lab grown Ruby

Thank you so much for your advise. I'll search the spinel.
Could you also recommend me a Ruby vendor?
Thank you.

Really tricky question. If I was in the market for a serious purchase, I would turn to Robert Genis from National Gemstone, he has some spectacular rubies, all AGL certified unheated. Otherwise you can try Vlad Yavorskyy, he has some very fine rubies too. Or Africagems. These would all be natural rubies.

For synthetics you can ask Gary Braun from Finewater gems. I have 20+ synthetics and his is - by far - the best one. Precison cut, excellent brilliance and fire, perfect color. Not cheap but you pay for the cut and design, he knows what he is doing

For reference, this was done by Gary Braun, I asked him to replicate a natural ruby cut I saw and he came up with this design, which he now uses a lot for other synthetics. GREAT stuff.

Not sure Gary B at Finewater Gems has any lab Ruby listed, however it is Tucson coming up and it may be worth asking him if he could look out for some suitable roughs during his buying trip.

Very nice vendor and I met him in person during Tucson 2023.

DK :))
