Question about griddle

I have a really silly question lol. We received a square griddle pan for a gift and....I don''t know what to cook on it.... lol
Is it for eggs? That was my first guess, if so I''m gonna make some eggs but I''m worried the egg will slide off the side. Fi normally cooks but he''s sleeping and I want some food! Feel free to make fun of me I figured I could post this here since it is regarding a wedding gift? lol

I find square pans are great for making grilled cheese sandwiches. They fit much better than in round pans.

Pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches! Eggs will run right off, probably not a great idea!

i tried making it with eggs and there were little edges on it and it worked great for making an omlette, ugh i can barely move now! we put it on our registry because both of our parents have one, we just never knew what they used it for, oh im so glad we got it now lol

They are for pancakes and crepes!! We have one as well!!

We use ours for pancakes.... that''s pretty much it really. Sounds like some good suggestions though. We should try making crepes. Yummm!

lol!! Too cute of a story! I couldn''t live without my griddle! It''s my mom''s first one that she got, and it''s 27 years old--I registered for a newer and bigger one, but I still love the old one. Another suggestion, get your hands on some round egg forms and you can use them to make home-made Egg McMuffins!!!! I swear every time I make these FI goes bonkers and thinks I''m the greatest thing since sliced bread! Well, ok, he thinks that everytime I cook ANYTHING, since the poor guy (like most bachelors) used to live on frozen pizza and taquitos before I came along. Have fun using your griddle!!!

we are a griddle family. Weekends a big feast for us... bacon, eggs, hash browns, pancakes sausages

yep gets cooked on our large griddle

And Crate and Barrel has had them in the past, And Bed Bath and Beyond!
