Hi everyone, and especially the jewelry designers out there
I recently bought a very beautiful 4.01ct Tanzanite stone for an engagement ring for my girlfriend (yes I'm aware that it is a softer stone prone to scratches )
I'm a bit worried about the backside (tale / whatever you call it) as it is not 100% in the center as with a brilliant cut diamond for instance. Will this impact the setting of the stone at all? Have a look at the picture I drew in paint to give better context.
Stone Details:
- Length: 11.25mm
- Width: 8.11mm
- Depth: 6.20mm
Any comments will be appreciated!
