Question to fellow PS vendors/appraisers

You''re calling in a stone(s) for a client for further examination... AND THEY WANT YOUR SHIPPING ACCOUNT INFORMATION to ship the diamond to you.

Do ya''ll just surrender this information to them at the drop of a hat? Forgive my skepticism but is this *normal practice*? Just about all the companies we do business with have their own insurance account.

Never have had this happen...usually they either don't charge for shipping or just add a fee to the Memo.

Everybody who we deal with has their own insured accounts... We've never had anybody request this information from us.

We get it all the time downunder, it is one reason we have higher prices.

We have not had this happen either. The only time we have been asked for our account info. is by one or two appraisers who need to ship a diamond back to us to be set.
