Questions about jade pendant from China

Hello forum!

My father bought this jade pendant from a store in China. Supposedly the dealer is very reputable, but who really knows.

Can anyone tell me what I’m looking at? Jadeite vs. nephrite? Quality of the stone? Quality of the workmanship?

Gotcha! How can you tell it’s machine carved?

Flower details at the back. Too laborious by pure hand and they really wouldn't do that and have less time for other carvings, since they are paid by the piece.

The front with the dragon's face may be a mix. But not particularly fine (I.e.$$$) workmanship.
