Ohhh I love Cricket! She’s gorgeous! Aren’t the ears ridiculous? I think we’ve developed ESS - ear shrinkage syndrome tho because they look completely normal to us now

its mating season here so the stray/ feral mommy tom cat hadn't been home much
it had been about 2 weeks
i had almost given up hope thinking just yesterday please know that you were loved mommy
but this morning he was waiting in the sun done by the shed for his breakfast
he was hungry and looked pleased to see me getting quite close

through the winter, having 2 meals plus snacks every day he was getting quite 'amble', but last time i saw him he looked well but trim
today he looked good, nice coat, clear eyes, but a bit hungry, but not unloved or homeless (he has long hair)
i think there are enough people in this neighbourhod who leave out food for strays he isnt starving
he ate a descent enough for breakfast but didn't completly pig out

i wish i could get him freindly so i could get him to the vet
he deserves a kinder life
i wish he would sleep in the little cat bed i leave at the back door

My SIL is fostering kittens, they are 10 days old, she FaceTimed me while she was feeding and I snapped some pictures. Sorry not the best quality but they are so stinking cute!

Aw thanks! I just realized from this pic how long her nails are. Absolutely loathe cutting dog nails and she is very uncooperative hence they get too long

bit of excitement tonight
got home after work to discover the window in the Bruce room* was wide open. i had forgiven to close it
No sign of the Fluffa Duffa anywhere, Gary last saw her about 1pm

i think Borris may have pushed her out

anyway she turned up about 30 min latter sitting on the trailer but she was ultra cagy and i couldn't get near her even with a plate of food
After we had had our tea (dinner) Gary suggested leaving the back door open and sure enough Fluffa Duffa walked back in on her own in no time
it had been a very wet afternoon and she hates the rain

she is now asleep in our bed
i think she likes being a house cat

*a room where one's Bruce Springsteen stuff lives - in our case a 4th bedroom but often a basement room

I got Gigi out for pictures but Lucky was not having it....lol She's 58lbs here which we need to keep her at. she will not only eat her food but any that Lucky leaves behind as well

We are so lucky we have many dog nephews! I might not be able to have a dog of my own yet but I love these furry babies so much.

I wanted to resurrect this thread with a picture of my big boy Hobbes. He has been struggling with diabetes for a few months. We have finally gotten his blood sugar under control to a vet-approved number! He has some weight to gain, but overall he’s much happier and feels better now. <3

We got to visit Archie this weekend. He is such a sweet baby. His cousin Luca went home for the holidays but will rejoin Archie in the beginning of December.



Look at his beautiful face. He is a love.

I would kill for his silky gorgeous hair.



And when it was time to leave he got all mopey. Me too. I wish we could take him home with us.

Fright of our lives!!! We thought one of our cats had gotten out. She's a mean kitty with lots of tortitude so I was very worried about her getting into a fight with one the community garden cats. We searched for her for an hour!!!

As soon as my dad came home (he is her human), he started calling out for her and heard her mewing from under their bed. She had somehow managed to weasel her way INTO the bed frame structure and had gotten stuck! No idea why she didn't meow for us when my mum and I were frantically tearing the room apart looking for her

She's safe and sound now, had half a tube of those lickable treat things, and being her regular mean self to everyone else except her daughter and the grampa cat of the group. Let it never be said that we love you any less, Sanlo!!!

Hehe thanks! He used to be 21lbs. But since his fight with diabetes, he’s lost a lot of weight. And that is not good. We are trying to get him back to a healthy weight now. I will post a picture of him when he used to be his full chubby weight!
