I have been looking at a Whiteflash diamond 2.044 carat, SI1, I, ACA H&A, $19,166 but two things concern me. 1. This diamond has been on their site since 2006. I know this because a google search showed a question about that diamond on this forum dated then. 2. The Sarin report showed no inclusions which shouldn't be for a SI1 grade. Bob, their rep, called and told me that even the AGS report showed no inclusions and that he would make inquiries and get back to me today. AGS-6550404. Seems like something is going on very peculiar with this stone??? Comments???

I saw this diamond in 2005.
It is slightly painted (not as heavy as an EightStar) and it is gorgeous, full of fire.
I was able to spot the inclusion with the naked eye, after a few moments.
That's why I bought another one, a 2.123ct.

There is an updated report online, so it could probably be an upgraded stone by someone else.

You should have a look at this diamond.
It really had incredible fire.
Perhaps you won't spot the inclusion?

Wouldn't the inclusion show up on the grading report? Also, what does painted mean?

I'm sure it's a bug, previous AGS report (not the Platinum one but the older version) did show the inclusion.
You can do a search on pricescope to find out what painted diamonds are.
This one is very nice, and it is an AGS 0.

How do I get a copy of older version? I'd like to see. Where is the inclusion you saw? Is it bad? Don't really know how to read the results of the ideal scope.....yet! I do see the crown painting as per pricescope explanation. I'll have to study it further to see if I can recognize pavilion painting. Do you see any? In your opinion, what do you think the negatives are in this stone you haven't talked about? Thanks for helping me. The search for a 2 carat ideal stone is very limited if you want the proper certs. That's a lot of money and I don't want to find a better stone that I wish I would have bought. Why has this stone been on the market so long if it is supposedly so great according to Whiteflash? :read: :read:
