925 indicates it is likely to be Silver.

No one can tell if a stone is real or not by just an ordinary photo even if one is posted.

Curious what a fire sapphire might be. Generally “fine gemstones” are set in gold or platinum. Sometimes natural gemstones that are of of lesser quality are set into sterling silver (.925). So, sure it could be a natural stone, but it isn’t likely to be a “fine” quality one. And still curious about fire sapphire. Can you post a pic or two?
