Reception dress/shoe help

I had a reception dress made last summer because I don't think I want to wear my long wedding dress for the entire reception (I'll mostly just wear it for the ceremony, receiving line (so people can see it and poke at it, lol), the photos, and then change).

Right now, it actually is too tight to fit comfortably, but I'm going to be optimistic and believe that I'll be able to lose the 5lbs by August, lol. Anyways, I'm wearing white, strappy, leather platforms for the ceremony, they are a little punk-rockish which I love. But it occurs to me that they look kind of funny with my reception dress. Thought I'd ask for some opinions. I'm a little worried that I look like a chinese go-go waitress, haha.

I wear a sz 4.5 :/ so finding shoes is always tricky...

Hehe, thanks! I was in much better shape during the summer, the sedentary student lifestyle has translated into gaining a few lbs and inches unfortunately. But I''m hopeful that once school ends later this month, I''ll have more time to focus on getting in shape (so that the dress fits again!).

I''m just worried the shoes make the outfit a little too vampy? Haha, I should not that the dress falls right about my knees, but there are slits up both sides (just the style of the chinese dress).

I was thinking of maybe accessorizing with a red belt, just so that the white is broken up just a bit.

Shoes and dress both look fab! I personally would not do a belt with that dress.

100 times DITTO! Gold bangle bracelets or chandelier earings would look fab IMO.
