RELIEF-invitations in the mail

Has anyone found it is such a relief to finally drop those invitations in the mail? My wedding is July 3, 2005 and I just put the invitations in the mail on Saturday. It was a huge relief to have that project done. I sort of feel like we''re in the "coasting" stage of the planning now.

Wow! A year in advance...

Most of the weddings I''ve gone to the invitations were mailed out only about 6-8 weeks in advance, unless it was on a holiday weekend. Save-the-dates were mailed out 6 months in advance...

IslandDreams...yes, I remember getting those blasted things in the mail...it was a relief!!! Congrats to a major accomplishment!!
