Remaking a Tennis Bracelet

Any idea how much it'll cost to remake a tennis bracelet? I saw somewhere that it can easily cost more than the original bracelet because unsetting and resetting it can be so risky and labor intensive. I've inherited a tennis bracelet of 0.4? or 0.5? ct diamonds in a bulky platinum setting. I wanted to reset it into something similar to JPie's art deco bracelet.

I personally wouldnt mess around with that. You have a period piece in platinum and some of the intrinsic value is in that - the sum will be worth more than the parts.

If you don’t like it sell it and buy what you do like.
