If we have guests sending back reply cards to california from Canada and Europe... do we need to write USA on the reply card? Would you write out the entire United States of America since nothing is typically abbreviated on your formal reply card envelope, or do you think just USA is enough. Do we even need to have USA there at all since I assume all post offices know how to get mail to California?

And then.... where can we get the correct STAMPS to put on the reply cards? i know US stamps will not work if the rsvps are being sent from abroad.

I think that this has been brought up before, and it is better to ask them to call with their RSVP or email.

I remember someone saying that other country mail boxes won''t take US stamps, and we can''t get the ones they would need to use, here in the states. If you do send the RSVP card, I would just leave a stamp off.

USA is fine, right under the zip code, but YES you need to include it. To get the correct stamps, I had my aunt bring some when she visited, or you could have someone mail them to you.

Oh my gosh! I''m so glad you brought this topic up. I didn''t even THINK about it, and I have 2 international guests. However, they''re both really close friends of FI, so I''ll just make him call them and explain that they can email or call us back once they''ve made their decision.

Thanks. USA on reply cards and we are having family mail us the proper stamps. Now onto the 1000 other things to worry about!
