Resizing pictures!

I don''t know what else to try!!! My husband just got an amazing new camera...I guess the quality of the pix is too good? Keep in mind I am technologically challenged- the file is too large. I have no idea what else to do to resize. I''ve tried everything. Any advice?

those cameras usually come with some light version of photo editing software e.g. Adobe Photoshop or alike. See what you have in the package

If you use Adobe Photoshop, when u save the photo in jpg/ jpeg format, save the quality as 8 (High) instead of 10 (Maximum)
