The response cards that match my invitations come with, by default, one line for a name, such as:
M__________________________

I can have them customized with 2 lines if I desire. My problem is FI and I are doing the "serious relationships/married/living together/she''s had my baby" dates only. I think one line looks awkward, but I feel like if there''s 2 lines, it will only confuse the single people we invite. We know both parties for every couple on the guest list so it''s not like we would need to know someone''s name for the placecards.

Should I stick with the one line or go for two? Any advice appreciated!

Can you go blank? All ours said was "The favour of a reply is requested by date Q". Then you just make sure you number each card in tiny writing on the back in case someone just writes "We''ll be there!" with no sense of who "we" is and you''re good to go.

We''ve got about a dozen cards back. No problems yet.

I''d say one, or blank as Indy suggested. With 2 lines it might lead to "add ons" by some of the singles.

I vote no line. Make sure you address the cards properly.

ETA: We are trying to do the same thing since our families are both large. The only people that get "&GUEST" Invites are friends who don't really know my other friends and family.
