I''ve been throwing around a few ideas for a RHR. Which would you choose, an eternity band or a Simon G band? If you chose the eternity band how large would it be? The Simon G band is the one posted by FireGoddess in the dream thread.

Thanks!

Lori

Having a 10 stone diamond ring with 10 pointers...I would totally go for Simon G or for that wide filigree band style...the 10 stone ring is not commanding enough on my hand by itself. I am considering either getting 2 very thin eternity bands to flank it and create a stronger look, or just get a whole new RHR maybe later this year or next year in a wider band structure.

So my vote is for the larger, stronger looking piece...!

Oh, I''d go with a Simon G. all the way!! I love the wider bands and the intricate open look of Simon G. is beautiful!

To me an eternity ring is more a left- hand ring.

That Simon G baby...all the way!!! With the yellow diamond and pink diamond ribbon melee...ugh!! Still drooling over it...

FireGoddess!

I knew when you posted it that I wanted it! I am going to make up my mind soon. The band is gorgeous. Have you seen it in person?

This is the band in question.

I have seen it in person and it is fabulous.

The backside of the ring is still tricolor with the ribbons, but there is no melee. It''s just polished.

It''s awesome. I still want it someday!

FG- your deserve it as a treat for all the trouble your going through with your e-ering

I agree with Mara that a stronger piece would make more of an impact, UNLESS you have tiny/short fingers. If your fingers are longer, than the Simon G would look perfect!

ETA: or you could *instead* purchase an eternity band and then save up for a few more and then STACK them. This would be fun too and give you future goal purchases and something to look forward to

Simon G. Definitely, I always think that RHR should should be more fun and daring then rings on the left hand. More of a statement of the person wearing it. And the Simon G just says WOW!!!

I have tried on that Simon G ring and it is goreous! I believe you could also get it without the rows of diamonds on the top and bottom if you didn''t want so much bling -- but of course, who would want that?

In general I like bigger or wider rings for the right hand as well.

Update: I went with Whiteflash and ordered the eternity band. It is arriving next week and I can''t wait!!! Maybe in the future I will someday get the Simon G.

Because my w-band is an eternity I would totally go Simon G. In fact, Im already working my way into that ;) as a wedding band I can switch off or wear with the eband. My boss''s wife wears several eternity bands and a Simon G. She''s got something going on there and it rocks. I stare hopefully at ther hand

Which eternity band? Channel set? Shared prong? Do tell!!!

Hi Fire Goddess,

Love your new setting! I ordered a shared prong 15 pointer band from Whiteflash. I loved Ame's band and Mrs. Salvos and they ordered from Whiteflash too!
