Ring has been ordered! What now..........?

So my BF let me lead the way with the whole E-ring shopping, as he knows how darn picky I can be. I scored the internet for many sleepless nights looking for that perfect setting, bothered Pearlman''s endlessly about the setting and the stone, worried over spending so much money, second guessing myself, looking at someone else''s ring here and thinking it looked more beautiful than one I chose... I mean it''s been quite an emotional experience!

But now the ring has been ordered and they told us it takes 4-5 weeks for the Beverly K setting to be ready. After all this work and excitement, I''m at lost as to what to do for the next 4-5 weeks???

We''re not telling anyone until it is official so there''s no one I can talk to about it, and I''ve already talked my BF''s ears off with all my babblings.

I was so nutsy that my BF bought me a Tiffany bracelet just to keep me from going completely bonkers!

Which is just crazy because I''ve never even been much of a jewelry person and didn''t own a single piece of decent jewelry, and now I have this diamond ring on its way and a Tiffany bracelet on my wrist!

Life has been altered forever...

Once all the research, asking questions, looking at stones, etc are all done, how do you handle the waiting part? Not to mention, I''m in complete denial that once the ring gets here then the REAL waiting begins, as it''ll be up to my BF to decide when he''ll actually propose...

I know exactly how you feel! I have to wait around 3 weeks for my new ring to arrive. I was sitting last night wondering what to do with myself until it comes.....

I don't even know how I handled it, honestly! I was completely obsessed and my sister, best friend and boyfriend (now fiance) were ready to strangle me if I mentioned the word diamond again! The weeks will really fly by...and he better not make you wait a long time once it is ready! (My fiance proposed to me the same day he got the ring!)

ETA that I'm jealous you got a Tiffany bracelet for your craziness! Hahaha! Maybe you can take pictures and post them for us as a way to distract yourself?

See? You guys are the only ones who understand! My BF now just gives me the look and look away if I''m talking about the ring or the diamond, but if I don''t even talk about it then I might just burst. Girl can only look at the picture of the ring so many times!

Well at the best scenerio the ring will arrive by end of May. On May 31 our friends are getting married and we want neither to steal their thunder or get overshadowed by their big event. While I''m sure my BF will propose right away, he might just have to wait long enough to by pass their wedding. I love these friends but dang what timing!
