I am having problems wearing rings because my finger size fluctuates. Not just with the hot & cold seasons, time of month, but also time of the day. It starts out snug but not tight in the morning and by evening the ring is just about ready to fall off my finger. It is even worse in winter time.

Sizing beads have not helped at all and I don''t want to change the shank into those squarish shaped things. I think it looks really odd. What else can I do? I haven''t been able to wear rings at all because of this.

On the other hand, I''ve never had a problem with plain 24kt gold bands of various sizes from 1mm up tp 3mm. I have lots of rings so it cannot be an expensive solution either. Please help me because I want to wear my diamond rings and not just admire them in their jewelry boxes!

I have the same problem. Depending on the weather or if I just had some Ribs to eat or working out, my hands / or fingers will be different sizes. Try to find the best average and live with it. Some Cold mornings my rings will fall off. Or a hot August Summer , I have to have them off by 2 PM or I will not get them off.

Hope this helps

My poor jeweler has sized certain rings 2, 3 even 4 times. After years of dealing with chubbby fingers (no matter how thin I got) and swelling, I just go for the biggest size possible that won't jeapardize the ring's safety (losing it). Sure, soemtimes, it's loose and spins...but 80-90% of the time, it is fine and comfortable.

Until they invent some device that can easily and comfortably --and subtly--go on and off the back of the band, this is it.

I have problems with ring sizing, too. I haven't found any perfect solutions, but I find that having my wedding band and engagement ring slightly different sizes helps.
My wedding band is a 6 and my e-ring is a 5.75. 5.5-5.75 is probably my true size, and most of the time the 5.75 is perfect. However, on those days my fingers swell, the e-ring feels awful, but the size 6 wedding band fits nicely. So even when my fingers are resembling sausages more than actual fingers

I can still wear a ring.
The w-band is a little loose when my fingers are at a "normal" size (its an eternity band so thankfully the spinning isn't too noticable), but nice and secure with the e-ring on top.
I live in Memphis and the heat+humidty is rotten all summer, so depending on whether I'm indoors or out, my ring size can be all over the place. The different size rings as worked pretty well so far.
