I can''t wait to see it with your e-ring! Meanwhile, I''m in week 3 of my wait for my e-ring and I''m DYING!!! The first week was basically wasted time while the stone was shipped to Pearlman''s via registered mail, and now Ritani has had it for 2 weeks. The ETA is Nov. 24, but I''m not sure if that''s the date that it will be done at Ritani, or the date that Julian expects me to have it. I have lunch plans with friends back home in MI that day, so i''m contemplating making the 2 hour drive to Pearlman''s to pick up my ring myself, just so it gets on my finger ASAP! AAARRRRGGGHHHHHH - the waiting is killing me!

I was bad though and I did buy something.

It doesn''t really sparkle though. I bought a plain rose gold band on ebay just for fun and because it was so cheap. Shouldn''t have done it but oh well. I bid, left the house, came back and whoops, it was mine!

- random green tourmaline cushion from ebay (may be awesome, may be horrible, who knows)
- random spess from ebay (see above comments)
- two lots of sapphire beads for making jewelery (for mom for Christmas- she makes her own gemstone necklaces and bracelets)
- 5.87 mm square cushion green tourmaline from Dan Stair
- 6.8 mm square cushion green tourmaline from Gene

I''ve made some headway on the ring design for my mother. We found a jeweler who could fit our budget on a design similar to neatfreak''s e-ring.

I have also contacted the etsy artist that loriken started a thread about to see what she could do for me. I have a feeling she will be a lot less than going to a standard jeweler and her work is really lovely! Hi everyone!

I am SO glad I came across, and actually read through this thread!!! When I was reading the first part of the thread I assumed this was for folks waiting for colored jewelry pieces so I didn''t want to intrude. However....I see there are people twidling thumbs waiting for other pieces as well. Well...I am officially joining the club!!! I am in the process of a re-set of my engagement ring going from a solitaire to a 3-stone and I am awaiting a SP eternity band to go with the new setting. Hopefully both should be in hand by next week, but the waiting has been agonizing!!!!! My engagement ring has been at WF since Oct. 20 awaiting the new setting, which is the same day I ordered from SP. And I was supposed to have my new 3-stone this past Wednesday but WF ran into an issue with the casting, so the time was extended. Arrggghh!! But I am okay with that as long as the issue is corrected and I get a quality product. Anyhow....so glad to find other sharing my angst.

Now I need some ICE CREAM!

So now I''m just waiting on the remainder of my ebay purchases and the ring for my mother. I posted pics of my green tourmalines I received on Saturday in their own thread.

The ring will be a tough wait though.

Not to mention waiting for my own e-ring but thats a totally different kind of waiting!
