I am absolutely 100% in love with this ring! And it feels so good to have my diamond back on my hand!

I''m not 100% sold on the little band, but it was meant to be temporary anyway so whatever, LOL.

My LOGR setting came today. I didn''t take pics because I took it straight to the jeweler. It will be done on Saturday and I''ll take a bunch then. I do really like it. I can see how it''s not the quality you''d want for an e-ring, but it is more than good enough for a fun RHR! The diamonds do sparkle in the sun. I can see a few of them that don''t look as bright and clear, but that''s with really close inspection, and I didn''t upgrade them. My mom and sister seemed to think it was really pretty too. The jeweler said that because of the location of the prongs, that the stone wouldn''t sit all the way down in the setting, that it would sit up just a little higher, but that it would look nice. Is this normal? It seems like I''ve seen rings that sit both ways. What do you guys think?

Also, the first jeweler I took it to (who is NOT setting it) said some pretty HORRIBLE things to me about the setting and why I got it at a low price. The things he said were terrible, and he said them in an incredibly rude way. Although I will NOT ever be going back in there, he did really get me thinking. I won''t repeat what he said to me, but has this ever happenend to any of you guys? I guess this would be a better question for the LOGR thread, but I don''t want to go there and say anything offensive. It''s really got me kind of upset though, and doubting that I could ever buy another one.

Update for ILE- I went to my jeweler and my ring should be ready on MONDAY. They promised that it will be PERFECT however, I am tutoring until late late on Monday since I need the cash to travel with for the sis'' wedding. The jeweler offered to let my FI pick up the ring for us and let me try it on at home and come back if I see issues....but he''s scared. He''d rather have me go with him. HOWEVER I''m not free until WEDESDAY since I''m tutoring Tuesday too. (It''s the end of the quarter and my kids are freaking out- I''d feel really bad to back out on them now). I''m DYING here ladies....what do I DO?? On the upside....very excited!!

Thanks for all the well wishes and dust!! Maybe it''s working!! keep the fingers crossed only a few more days!!

I''m an EXCELLENT butt kicker if you need one!! (It''s the teacher in me...it comes naturally!! -not that I kick the kids butt''s lt''s just that I know how to say things nicely but SERIOUSLY!!

) But really...Dani is rigt...nobody has the right to speak to you that way..and if you don''t feel right..don''t buy from them again. Just so you know..I have ZERO patience either...so I am having a HUGE issue with the waiting to Wednesday thing too!

Update- I have a flex day Monday since the kids are off so I might actually get to go pick up my ring with my FI if all goes well. Assuming work is done on time, FedEx delivers, etc...etc...etc......keep crossing those fingers ladies!!!!

Kelli, that sucks how the jeweler treated you - it''s mean, shameful behavior on his part, and you would think he''d be professional (or at least mature) enough not to make petty comments! It''s your decision where you want to purchase settings, and China is such a large country. It was unfair of him to make generalizations like that, especially without knowing exactly where and from who you bought the setting. Anyway, I thought he was out of line.

ILE, I cannot wait for your pictures!

Update: Picked up my ring today! I made a thread but it''s sooo gray here (then again, it IS Chicago in the fall) - but the ring sparkled like crazy in the sunlight when I picked it up. If only I had my camera with me! The jewelry store associate was so excited about how pretty the ring turned out - and it turned out they misquoted me the price? Instead of $50, it was only $25. And I''m bidding on my last setting for myself (for awhile), which will be a halo for a round stone - and to go in it, I''ve had Barry Bridgestock find me a green tourmaline. Yay!
