Does anyone have a source for high quality round rose quartz beads in the 6 to 8mm range? I've checked Etsy, and while the inventory is vast, I've not seen any in the clear quality I'm after. Madagascar rose quartz preferably.

The lampwork beads would have to removed. I never liked this combination (sorry Mom!) , so I never actually wore the necklace. To be clear, only the spherical beads are rose quartz.

Those intense purplish pink Madagascar rose quartz beads were really something, when they were available. I haven't seen them for sale for years now, though. Hope you can find some!

Very pretty!
I'm looking for a consistent strand of 6 to 8mm rounds to make a bracelet. Thank you tho!!!

about a year ago i saw a necklace in a shop window in town
it was one of those artisan type jewlers down a side street
he works in lots of difffeernt medium
he had the most beautiful rose quartz
i was stopped in my tracks, the colour and transperancy i had never seen before
to be fare i have only see rose quartz in crystal shops except for a very pale pendent at one of the mall jewlers
he said he had had the pieces for years and was only just using them now
it was expensive for a piece set in stirling silver but the rose quartz was drool worthy

Hard to find for sure! I see the odd piece on etsy. The beads are usually very large, like 12 to 15mm which I find big for a bracelet. That would be a Wilma Flintstone bracelet on my wrist LOL. Always love to hear about stock tucked away from another time @Daisys and Diamonds :)

i wish i had taken a photo
i rather loved it but it was exspenive for non fine jewery, if i had had a full time job i might have put it on a credit card
it was a new piece made with old stones, but im not sure if actually vintage, more like just been put away in a drawer and forgotten about never used
but they were beautiful, maybe yes too big for a bracelet but otherwise exactly how you describe
they did stop me in my tracks

i cant wait to see what you eventually find and your new bracelet
please keep us updated
i am rather new to sourcing gemstone beads and im learning and making mistakes as i go
(im practising before i ever buy a diamond or precouse or even semi porecouse stone) so please post this braclet's journey

I will. I'm not hopeful I'll find something of the quality I like, in the size I like, in the price I can afford!

Etsy has changed a lot. I'd heard they got more expensive for sellers. I dunno if this I true, but I've noticed a difference in the past few years. Lower quality and higher prices. Inflation too i guess...
