It's a micromosaic parure that was made for Empress Marie-Louise, a wedding present from Napoleon.

On a related topic:
Not 100% sure if true, but this convertible diamond necklace really reminds me of the one Elizabeth II borrowed from Lord Plunket for the Fanfare of Europe celebrations in 1973.

Note the little shamrocks running along the tiara, possibly a reference to the Plunkets Irish background (provided the tiaras are the same). We know that at some point the 7th Baron sold the tiara, as he wasn't particularly fond of the design...

It seems to have effected almost all of life's simple pleasures
there was no royal ascot this year
so i can't even enjoy the simple pleasure of enjoying the Queen's choice of brooch and other finery

Princess Beatrice, elder daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, got married in a low key ceremony attended by close family members in one of the chapels in Windsor Castle recently (it might have been earlier today 17 July 2020).

I have yet to see any pictures from the wedding. Just curious if she wore a tiara for the occasion or not, that's all.
