I love the photos everyone posts here---thank you to all!



The actress is called Sophie Winkleman, I believe. She's been in so many things for just ages---I was surprised when I learned she had married into the Royal Family. I quite like the yellow dress with the cute ivory hat.

it just makes me happy seeing what every one royal is up to
i enjoy the jewles (and the hats- but shoes and bags and clothes not so much)
i learn lots of stuff, things i wouldnt know if it wasnt for a royal being there

Back to topic, it is very sad to see the lack of brooches on the ladies of the BRF. The late Queen always wore a fabulous brooch. I must be older than my years because I've worn & loved brooches for ages.

my grandma never left the house without one
they were just so stylish back then (im not sure when grandma would have been born but well over 100 years ago now)
i brought two brooches in the last year and a bit
silver and green agate (dyed probably) oh and the picture isnt to size

and a Karen Walker pin (not earrings) from her runaway girl range, its on a long pin
sorry my phone isnt working for photos

She is a well known NZ fashion designer who has nice jewlery but its small and exspenisve for the size (like the clothes) and every girl and their kitten wears it
but i just liked it as a pin for a winter coat

Princess Caroline is a princess after my own heart
she has the right amount of princessly bling for me

almost all other Princesses, Queens and Duchess need to go back and put at least another piece on these days, not take one off

We can see here that the tiara is quite wide and wraps almost all around the head. It can probably also be worn as a necklace.

There was a white tie reception in the evening, though tiaras were not worn by the female guests. One notable piece that was worn at the evening reception was a demi-parure of sapphires and pearls from the Schaumburg-Lippe collection:

The tiara and earrings were lent by her maternal aunt, Catherine Drummond-Herdman, daughter of the 16th Baroness Strange.
