Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother owned an aquamarine pinecone tiara by Cartier and gave it as a wedding present to her granddaughter in 1973.


At first Princess Anne wore the tiara in its original form, but later had it shortened by removing the central bluster and one of the aquamarine prongs.




The pendant must've been created around that time and the large cluster was turned into a brooch.




The earrings with baguette-cut aquamarines and diamonds are a newer and less successful addition.

Madame Laurence de Gaulle wore a diamond festoon necklace, which was previously worn by her husband's grandmother and former Première dame de France Yvonne de Gaulle.

i did love the pink outfit on their arrival in France, HM looked very pretty
but you are right, this navy blue is just majestic, Cam looks like the Queen (even without a tiara ...or a brooch)
