Rubellite ring

I bought a Rubellite ring and I need some honest opinions about it. What do you think about the stone?

Personally, the stone is too dark and brown for my liking, and I am not sure if I like the quality cutting.

I would pass myself.

I'm sorry, but I would not call that a Rubellite. Not even close.

Well as you probably know, Pricescope focuses on higher dollar jewelry, exacting standards etc. Many non-PS people would think that ring was just fine and lovely, especially if you didn't pay a ton for it. It looks like a typical commercially manufactured piece to me. So imo only important question is do YOU like it?
