Safest chains?

Which style of chains are strongest? Wheat, box, cable, etc? Is gold filled as good as 14K gold? It's for a 14K yellow gold .74 diamond solitaire pendant my husband just gave me <3

Any suggestions?

Would love input from one of you, but I went ahead and researched... Two favorite "strong" chains come up: wheat and box. So I guess I'll go with one of them.

To me, box chains are not the best choice. My hair got stack in them, the same as snake chain. Although I do like snake chains. Wheat chains are good choice, they rarely are delicate. Either the piece needs to be big enough, not to be ovewhelmed by this type of the chain. Good luck with your decision.
