No surprise that under CFL, for example, it doesn't have the same level of bright intense color, but this will really help newcomers understand that stones change depending upon the lighting. Chiming in here. As @minousbijoux said, it's really helpful to see your stone in all of the different lighting. It's a bright blue in the glamour shot, but the photos in front of the window on a cloudy day show how dark it can get. Colored stones are so interesting! Thanks for sharing your beautiful stone.

I LOVE her!! She has so much life and personality-- she is unique and independent (we had some talks and got to know each other lol).

Excuse my rugged and roughed up hands-- haven't had a manicure since I went digging for diamonds-- really can wreck your hands-- freezing water, rocks, Etc. Also, in general, I am tough on my hands...


ETA: my son is home from college and saw the stone on my hand and remarked, "woah, did you just get that? It's so blue." 20 year old man.

Yes, she is super fascinating and entertaining. Even when dark, she is sparkly and vibrant. Never dull, never blacks out.

She was cut in Sri Lanka. Gary was pleased with the cut, so he did't recut it.
