Hey, this offer may make Blue Nile on-par with most of the other online vendors in terms of pricing!

Love how it doesn't apply to loose diamonds.

I already bought my platinum hoops from them for V-Day so I didn't get to take advantage of the 10% off..wah!

Hey, Thanks Derek!

I was buying some earrings from Blue Nile, and almost forgot that you mentioned this! I looked it up at the last minute and saved 10%! That's a free lunch!

Thanks!

I wish it was an exciting new pair of diamond stud earrings, but sadly no.

I bought some simple white gold small hoop earrings. I used to have a pair that I loved, and when one of them broke, I never replaced them. I am the type who forgets to put jewelry on unless it's on all the time, and these hoops I won't ever have to take off...except to clean of course.

so, just a simple pair of small hoops...here's the link small hoops. I get them on Tuesday according to the email I got.

My next jewelry purchase will be my wedding band, so that's going to be exciting when it happens!

Funny!! These are mine:

I had some in silver for 2 years that I wore daily and after 2 pairs breaking and then finally losing one, I said...that's it...I'm getting a GOOD pair. I was surprised BN had such affordable platinum, alot of other sites had similar items for over $100.

Alas, the coupon wasn't around when I bought (VDay gift to myself!), but it's okay...the delivery was within 2 days for free!

Mara and others, do you guys take off your hoop earrings every night? Or leave them on when you go to sleep. I too ordered a pair of earrings from Blue Nile. I was however a little disappointed they didn't have the hoop earrings a little bigger, say around 1.5 to 1.75 inches in diameter. The largest they have are 1.25. I guess I still like the ones I ordered. Just still in search of a little bigger ones. Here's the link to the one I ordered:

Leota I found larger ones...I think on maybe Ashford or something?

Anyway, I take mine off, I can't sleep in any jewelry...and can't sleep with my hair down etc..little things like that bother me.

I prefer to wear my hoops to bed - only because I never remember to put them on again in the mornings when I am racing around trying to get out of the house & to work on time. Because of that, I will only wear hoops that don't have the post sticking out (I only like the kind where the post goes into the other side of the hoop on the back). Otherwise, they poke me in the neck when I sleep & I can't stand that.

I wear my e-ring to bed, but my watch comes off when I go to bed - and as a result, I forget to wear it half the time.

It all comes down to either getting up nice & early and having the time to remember to accessorize, or another half hour in bed...I choose sleep pretty much every time!

Has anyone tries Ti hoops?

Those are completely weightless, even very thick ones and very wearable

Not yet Val...to be honest these platinum ones I have are VERY light...in fact sometimes I have to remind myself I am wearing earrings, they are much lighter than my old silver ones. But I just can't sleep in anything...it bothers me. Plus as PG noted, these are the ones where the post slides into the other half of the ring so it looks seamless, the only hoops I like to wear..and I am always afraid of catching the hoop and ripping it or something..I can be careless with the arm sometimes.
