Save the Date

Im planning on having a Destination wedding in Puerto Rico. Im thinking of doing these cool Save The Date cards. Do you think sending a picture with the Puerto Rico flag to over the top???

why not send a picture of a nice beach in puerto rico. i think the flag is a little excessive. or if you are puerto rican, than thats okay. but if not, id opt for a pretty scenic picture. im considering a maui wedding. SIGH!

Yep, a picture of the beach sounds fabulous. I wouldn''t do the flag because some may not even recognize the Puerto Rican flag looks like (I didn''t - I had to google it! lol) and it also comes up as a bit political rather romantic and personally, a romantic beach would appear more appropriate for a save-the-date.

LOL...that''s where I am currently planning my wedding for next July, dc! It has been pretty stress free so far (if I could get FI to agree to anything in a timely manner, that is!)
