I''m so excited!!

I''m getting married at a botanical garden, in one of the rose gardens, and I thought it would be really cute to send postcards of the grounds as Save the Date''s. I stopped there on my way home from work tonight, and I got to talking with the gift shop manager about what I was doing buying 75 postcards, and she offered to have the postcards personalized with pictures of my choice for FREE! She gave me a book of pictures taken on the grounds and told me I could choose up to 3 of them.

I found 3 PERFECT pics of the actual garden I''m getting married in. So I''ll do 25 of each. The postcards are printed on really heavy weight cardstock and have the garden''s info on the back. She was so super sweet and really excited that I was excited. They should be ready in 2 weeks!!

Congrats!!! You are lucky to have gotten such an awesome deal! Sounds like they are going to be perfect save the dates

Are you going to take them to a printer to have the info printed on? Or are you going to handwrite them?

I actually haven''t decided yet!
(I need to get on this -- they are going out mid-February, I''m so bad)

I was thinking of getting a custom stamp made, or maybe just printing the info on nice paper and attaching it to the back. I have *decent* handwriting, but not pretty enough for STDs!

Congrats Yarrmatey!

If you have a half decent photo printer, you can probably put them through that for the text on the back.

My new HP5280 (less than $200, so it's no big whup) will print on fairly heavy postcard stock.

Just a suggestion...
