Anyone ever heard of simpleseating?

What did you use to create a seating chart? Big tagboard and a marker?

I am concerned about making sure each guest is served the right meal (we have 3 different choices) and it will be plated, has anyone had experience with this situation? We are looking at 230 guests we need rsvps from so it's a pretty daunting task or at least feels like it Any help or hints, tips, etc. are appreciated!

I haven''t used Simple Seating, but a friend of mine used Perfect Table Plan (http://www.perfecttableplan.com/) and really liked it. I purchased it several weeks ago (it was around $30, if I remember correctly), and I plan to use it to do the seating arrangements for our 260 person wedding. I''ve imported all of my guest information from an Excel spreadsheet, and so far, so good.
