Spessertitus

And the only prescription is retail therapy.

So here are three candidates from a new vendor I'm willing to try out. Are they any good? Why are the prices so low?

The dreaded "E" word.

So in my head if I un-enhance them, they loose saturation which drops them from the "good" to "meh" category.

TL I think you cured my Spessertitus (for tonight at least :naughty: )

There's always the Intergem show this weekend :D

Wow, talk about unrealistic prices! Photoshopping is one of my guesses. They also look very yellow on my monitor and probably so IRL.

How about this one?

It's on the MasterCut site under Guest Cutters.

Yes, I did see that one and think the colour is very nice for a Loliondo. However, when compared to what ForteKitty purchased, hers is less $/ct so I’m not sure why this one is more $/ct. Dana should be able to explain the price difference.

I was seriously considering that trillion one from mastercut too! ;) I loved the handshot but wasn't sold on the other pictures. It would be worth asking about and much better than the first stones posted.

My understanding is that Dana does not set the prices for the Guest Cutters, the individuals who own the stones set those, but it might be worth double-checking that with him. I've never bought from the Guest Cutters section, so I'm not sure how that all works.

I took a second look and both ForteKitty’s spessartite and this triangular spess are cut by the same guest cutter, Dr. Grey Weaver. It seems like the triangular rough was owned by Dr. Weaver though while ForteKitty’s rough was owned by Dana.
