Semi-bezel or split shank for this sapphire?

Hi there,
I posted a month or so ago for help deciding between two stones and ultimately we went with the 2.76 parti sapphire below.

I bought in person and love how it changes color in different lighting. It never entered their online inventory so that is the only decent picture I have. I did take one more in the store but it does the stone zero justice.

My question now is - how should I set this? I am really drawn to delicate semi bezel designs but am concerned about drowning the color. As you can see in the terrible picture it is lighter in the middle in certain light/angles. Will a semi-bezel help or hurt this?

I also like other styles - split shank and twist designs without too much side detail. More on the delicate than heavy because I have small chubby hands. Would those be better?

I’ll be concerned the semi-bezel will make the stone even darker. It looks quite dark now, so if it’s me I’ll do prong set... I think the diff type of settings will affect how much light goes into the stone and affect the color accordingly.
