We have been looking at rings since Jan I went to Blue Nile and James Allen. I ended up purchasing a G color 1.33 VSI. I wasn't mesmerized by it. The pave was too small and the band took away from the diamond. I didn't find Pricescope until after my purchase. (Photo attached) We sent it back. So then we ventured to James Allen. I also have been looking at stone colors. I am not color sensitive. I have terrible eye sight, but my hawk eye husband is a different story.
When trying on their settings they all seemed so dainty. We figured outwe liked the look of a 1.6-1.75 on my 5.5 finger. But that would require a downgrade in color. My BGD rep sent over this video of and I and J. I actually prefer the J. We also like solitaire settings. But then I ventured on to Verragio (I always like them, but found them to be costly) and found a ring in their Venetian collection that I really liked. I also really like the six prong settings. I found WF and BGD when reading a Blog, but was apprehensive since I don't live close enough to go visit. But after finding PS, so many people have had great success with these vendors.
I am torn between the following settings:
WF Valoria w/some modifications: https://www.whiteflash.com/engageme...-six-prong-solitaire-engagement-ring-6156.htm @mochidiamonds posted hers and so drool worthy
WF exquisite half round: https://www.whiteflash.com/engageme...half-round-solitaire-engagement-ring-3585.htm @Lani just posted hers. And it's gorgeous!

My issue is I don't won't a donut, I would like my band to fit as flush as possible. But I also think the photos of the settings on both sites makes the donuts seem larger than life!
My husband just gifted me this anniversary band. My original wedding band is channel set.
So Emily over at BGD sent over the attached video of an I & J. And I actually prefer the J.
If anyone has these settings would you mind posting a photo of your paired wedding band just so I can see?! Thank you so much if you made it to the end of this long post!
