I have a round opal, an oval moonstone and a pear shaped moonstone but I’m unsure of the halo design for them. So will really appreciate your help for any settings inspiration. All with halos for protection since these are relatively softer stones.

I’m thinking pendant for the opal and pear moonstone and ring for the oval moonstone but I’m open to other suggestions too. Here they are, and I’ll also post some of the inspirations I’ve found so far:

The crystal-opal looks so great with dark backing - which is sometimes done... I would not hide the backing, but let it form a narrow rim to frame the opal, in a setting like this - WWW.

I have seen such examples of ArtDeco rings - if not too often, but cannot find any right now. Could draw instead.

I might use both moonstones for a 'Y' necklace. The cushion moonstone is a dream...

Thinking out loud!

Those are some beautiful stones!
