Hi everyone

Just wondering if anyone here had any experience of getting a loose diamond set in London, UK. I have purchased a diamond (a very nice little asscher), but waiting until I get it set. Any recommendations on high quality bespoke jewellers? I am thinking I might just go to the Hatton Garden district and see what I can find there.

Thanks alot

mrkidd welcome!

I will see if I can track Pandora down, she might have some good advice for you.

have a word with daniel prince in hatton garden.

i have not purchased from them, but they are trying to find me a stone at the moment and have been working hard on it (it''s not an easy stone to find!)

if you do decide to go with them, i would be grateful for your feedback

good luck!

Hi Rosetta,

Thats great info and feedback would be invaluable for UK PSers! I hope you get your stone soon!

Thanks for the welcome Lorelei!

Rosetta - I will get in touch with Daniel Prince or go to visit and let you know.

Great forum by the way, I read a lot of posts while trying to decide what stone to get, hopefully I will get some pictures up of the finished article once completed.

Glad you like us and there is a wealth of info here and many good people that will help you!

Daniel Prince has a very good reputation so I would second using them.

Richard Ogden in Burlington Arcade might be another possibility especially if you were interested in something antique looking. Their bench have done some work for me and I was very pleased.

Thanks for the page Lorelei

Susan Astaire was very approachable when I chatted to her on the phone a few months ago. She does custom work. Link
