Hello friends!

I had posted here back in 2019 (!) about a pink sapphire I had purchased and wanted to set. Unfortunately life happened (as it does) and I never got around to setting it. I’m hoping to get it set sometime early next year, so I’ve started brainstorming on how I would like to set it.

It’s a bright pink .83 ct round pink sapphire, 5.7 mm.

I love clusters and halos, but since it’s on the smaller side, I don’t want to distract from it.

And here is the sapphire:

What do you all think? I’m so torn, I love them all!

Aaaare you sure you want to ask here, then? As the ideas pile up, you'll be in trouble.

I'm currently strongly biased and influenced by my last purchase, but I'd still suggest you look through NutellaKitty's pieces. She has some lovely designs for small but bright centre stones.

What a pretty pink sapphire! She could be a ballerina.

This is my own 7.08mm pink Sapphire ring that I am having made, a flower cluster with an air gap/line halo:

This is the stone itself and video, the photo does not do it justice as it is very sparkly in real life as can be seen in the video:

I'm particularly fond of this one

I think I’m leaning toward this one the most!

I love ballerinas! It’s between that and a flower cluster, I think. If this one doesn’t end up being a ballerina, I’ll definitely be purchasing another stone to set in a ballerina setting.

Your stone is so pretty! I think I’m leaning toward a similar setting without the air line.

I have always liked air line/gap as it provides bigger finger coverage, and these are the inspirational rings that I fell in love with many years ago:

I am also a fan of this setting by JYB jewels, she set an oval shaped pink sapphire in this setting for me and it's so pretty
