Oooh...thanks for the heads-up! I'm on call Saturday but am thinking about dropping in on Sunday. I actually haven't been to the city since I moved into the Bay Area a few months ago.

crasu, don't know....poke around the website i provided and you may find more. this won't be just "fine" gems but minerals as well as cabs, jaspers, etc.

I'll actually be there in a few weeks for a retreat at Chaminade. Looks beautiful! I'm a resident at Stanford, living in Redwood City these days.

well, welcome to califoria!

we're outside of boulder creek......off highway 9 and about 45 minutes from chaminade [which i've never been to but seen up on the hill] and about 1.25 hours from san fran.

my dentist and podiatrist are both in palo alto.

i'm not sure which day i'd go at this point. much depends on what the podiatrist says on tuesday.
