Gah! Wedding is in a week and I have mostly everything done except the biggest part, the ceremony. We are doing a DW so we won't be able to meet the officiant until the day before or of. He sent me his usual script which I like, but I want something personal and a little different in there. We are going to be saying personal things to each other before our vows, so I am looking for something to do before or after that. I know sand ceremonies are popular, but I think too cliche. I was thinking a hand ceremony, but that could also be cliche and just isn't feeling as us as I would like. We like realistic and not too cheesy stuff.

You ladies have helped immensely through this process and even came up with a great not too cheesy love quote for our invite, so I am hoping you can help now or direct me to a good website.

good topic!nice to hear from it.

We are passing our wedding rings from guest to guest as a community 'blessing' of sorts (ceremony is non-religious) during a musical interlude. We ask guests to think a positive thought or make a good wish for our marriage as they pass the ring to their respective neighbor.
