I am so glad this thread got bumped, I always love hearing how everyone came across this site. Keep''em coming!!!

So glad you bumped this thread mrssalvo! I research everything before I buy. So more than a year ago when I wanted to get myself a nice right hand ring, I did a Google search and I stumbled upon DT. Later, I learned about PS from DT and found PS to be more user friendly and well organized. I realized through research on PS that I need to save up for the right hand ring (with diamonds) that I ulitimately want, but I stayed on PS because I enjoy the discourse and of course looking at all the eye candy around here! I''ve learned so much in the year or so I''ve been around. Thanks everyone!!!

Well I was definitely researching my A. Jaffe e-ring setting. I was probably looking for pics/prices on it. I googled it.. and It came up with a post from someone here who bought an A.Jaffe setting from a jeweler here in Buffalo. I joined so I could private message that user. I never got a response from her, her post was almost a year old when I found it.. but I found lots of other great ladies! I was mostly a lurker for awhile.. but Then the first "anxious to get the e-ring" thread started.. .. and it was all over from there!

I googled Bridal Forum or something to that effect and found the Brides Worldwide. Too bad I hadn''t found it before the ring was purchased. I love my ring and would never give it up because my hubby worked so hard finding it, but I now realize the diamond isn''t the best cut or quality. No matter, It''s still a treasure to me.

Oh the fun threads never end. I too meandered here via Google. I''ve been researching asschers ever since I discovered them on the Bijoux Extraordinaire site. At the time I was btw the lucida, square radiant, and the asscher. The former was waaaay too much $$$ to NOT get exactly what I wanted. I saw the latter two side by side at a local jeweler and fell in love with the asscher. Thus began the quest for the coveted, perfect "storm worthy" asscher...I lurked on PS for months researching and reading posts. I finally got up courage to post...and PSers were so quick to welcome and converse with me. The addiction has already pulled me in and I now must have a "fix" a couple times a day. I''m still discovering the myriad topics on this site. Thank you to all for creating, maintaining and providing such a WONDERFUL community for gemophiles everywhere!
