What a brilliant idea to make it into earrings. It’s lovely on you.

Can’t wait to see the end products of this project. So awesome! That conversion turned out well! Glad to see there are other fans of crescent pendants as well.
I also purchased an antique crescent brooch recently, and I'm still waiting for the work to be completed. This is Victorian, and it will become a necklace, flower ring, and two pairs of stud earrings.
There's roughly .65 ctw of diamonds in a hodgepodge of cuts: Swiss, single, rose, & OEC. The sapphires total about 2.22 ctw and appear to be mined. The stones are set in silver on top of rose gold, and the pendant will hang from a rose gold chain.
Thank you so much! I’m really loving this little guy!The fox is cute as can be Wee!!
Thank you! I’ve made it my new hobby to search for old stick pins on eBay now. It’s very inexpensive to convert them to earrings or charms. What a brilliant idea to make it into earrings. It’s lovely on you.
Thank you! He is a fun little beastie to wear! That is such a handsome stud!
@stonewell I literally tried this on today!!! But they were asking too much (8k)... soI won’t be buying locally, but will be on a look it my self for crescent to covert it..
I can’t wait to see yours finished!
Where is the LOVE button? I adore this thread. Thanks Stonewell!
lovely pendant. And I love the chain, so chic!I received the muff chain and thought I would share an update... fortunately, an old mine and seed pearl pendant I purchased to wear with it also arrived today.
The pendant had its full “patina” and came with lots of grime and dirt. After a bit of tlc, it looked quite beautiful. There’s still some tarnish and the diamond isn’t secure enough, so I’ll have it professionally cleaned when the prongs get tightened.
I’m also loving the muff chain! It’s quite versatile - doubled up or full length. Look forward to using it with my imperial topaz pendant when it’s done.

She’s beautiful @JPie! The sapphires have such depth of color Please share some handshots when it arrives!
OMG! That is absolutely gorgeous! The color of those sapphires is amazing!
LOVE the sapphire ring! Crazy good color and looks so beautiful on your hand, @JPie
I also saw an amazing crescent brooch that I'd love to convert--but it was also spendy at 6K. I really was surprised it would be that much. It is gorgeous and I am thinking about it--but not on my immediate radar.
cheers--Sharon
Thanks everyone! Will post more pics when I get it. That is a lovely hand but not mine. Mine have more spots.
It looks like the photos I got from the jeweler's site might be enhanced a bit? They also have a video on their Instagram which shows the sapphires to be less vivid, but still a nice blue. Could just be the difference in lighting.
