Well, I''m not a fan & I choose not to listen. I did turn it on to hear the new theme song. She was stiff, not believable & to quote the song "bubble headed bleach blonde talking about the plane crash with a gleam in her eye". I don''t like her - but I was appalled at how bad she was. I was a huge fan of Elizabeth Vargas - so it''s not a women issue.

I think it''s so sick that society as a whole is more concerned with Katie Couric''s heels and facial expressions than what is going on in our world, I do not think this has anything to do with Ms. Couric, I think it has much to do with how little our society in general cares about real news. There was a great political cartoon in the San Diego Union Tribune today, Cronkite with an image of Vietnam displayed behind him and Couric with an image of "Meet Baby Suri" behind her. It is what America wants to see, otherwise they wouldn''t be reporting what they do. Societies fall when they become overinduldged and unconcerned, I wonder how long it will take for America to be one of them.
