If I was going to plunk down $1.5 million, I'd want a cert. No? At least the ring has one.

There's no "Best offer" on either which kinda sucks, but shipping's free. :lol-2: I'm thinking if I had the money, I wouldn't be turning to eBay...
 
That's crazy, if I have 1.5m and want a gem I still need to look for it myself? lol ...I would want all those tea and coffee or ppb breakfast at tiffany and have sales present me what they have very nicely.

Auctions are tricky -- even with a reserve.

Also, retailers generally would not need an auction house for buzz or visibility. I think of that being mostly for private-party sellers.
