Show me the Bling - the Laboratory Grown version!

Thank you. They are cut pretty well for preset tennis bracelet. I went nuts buying tennis bracelet of different carats up to 7ct and finally went back to 2ct which was my initial instinct of what would look good on my small wrist. But I do recommend JA for these. :kiss2:

I reset my lab diamond from NWD into an Ivy and Rose setting. It came back today, and I'm so happy with it, I can't stop staring! .90 cts, VS2, I-J color (I'm thinking it might be warmer, but that's what the cert says). 14kt yellow gold, size 6.25. This looks great!! I really want to set my diamond into an Ivy & Rose setting, I just can’t decide which one, so many choices!

you chose the perfect setting for your diamond I think, just lovely!!

@doribird , do you have a band you will wear with this? I’d love to see how this shape would look with a band

Do you have pictures of the different carats? I'm especially interested in the 7ct one!

No. Unfortunately that was before I found PS. So I don't have a photo. But it was about 3.8 mm thick with brilliant diamond and was stunning. It's also a great deal compared to Costco. Post a pic if you decide to get it. :)

Unfortunately, I probably won't get it anytime soon since it will likely be a milestone gift, but will definitely post pictures if/when I do get one!

Here are a couple of pictures with a little antique band I have. I ordered a 3/4 eternity band with 2.5mm lab diamonds from Ouros Jewels a month ago,and I'm still waiting for it to ship to me. I'm guessing the band I ordered will be too wide and compete with the solitaire, but I'll reserve judgment until I get it. For now, this little flower band works well...
(Sorry for the finger pudge, it was 100 degree heat index when I took these yesterday!)IMG_20200709_145025491_HDR.jpgIMG_20200709_145047486_HDR.jpg

Beautiful!!!

Thanks! The diamond is so lively, and throws off so much fire in every lighting condition. I'm so pleased with it now that it has fancy new "clothes". The yellow gold that Ivy and Rose produces seems to have a very slight tinge of pink, but still very much in the yellow gold range, which makes me love it all the more! It is one of their lighter weight settings, but the design and detail were exactly what I wanted. Here's to hoping it holds up to daily wear!

Joining the club with my 16th anniversary present. It’s a 2.2 ct G, VS2 lab grown oval by Ascot Diamonds. It will be my new everyday ring. The original and upgrade rings are currently vacationing in the safe.

@poshmommy what a beautiful ring I love how dainty it looks on your hand. I must admit my all time favourite ring is your 4 carat CER. It looks so breathtakingly beautiful!

Thank you Lessics! I love my CER still too. However, it is really flashy. I never wear it to work. I also only traveled with it once. I still wear it out around in my personal life about 3 x a week.

This oval is perfect for everyday. This one I can wear to work more. My daughter loves the new one and has already made claims on it for when she gets engaged. She wants the CER for when she's "old and bored." I guess that tells me what she thinks of me...teenagers...

The jeweler who sold me the oval loved the CER too. He hadn't seen one. He kept pulling out more stuff to entertain me so he could keep inspecting the CER!

@poshmommy would you feel more comfortable with the CER in a solitaire setting? I’m also looking into a 10mm oec and I’m not a 100% sure on the size for daily wear.
Your daughter is so lucky :)
I can only imagine that scene at the jeweler. Who wouldn’t want to look at your ring extensively!

Do you prefer the oval shape or the the round shape on your finger?

@poshmommy that is one stunning ring! I absolutely adore the proportion of the halo and the center stone. Could you kindly share the size (mm) of the melee diamonds in the halo and band? I would love to save this for a future project. Thank you so much!!

Sorry- what is a CER?
Nevermind, found it! And I love your oval!

Those earrings look perfect on you @AprilBaby! They look pretty big too. Have you ever slept with them? I have the pierced 1 ctw and was afraid the metal would get twisted if I slept with them on.

Yes I have and no damage but I do take them out now at night just in case. How do you like the pierced? I was tempted. Picture?

I received my first, fully lab based project from DK several weeks ago and couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. The 3-stone features a 5.29ct lab pad sapphire cut by Gene from Precision Gem and two lab cushion diamonds totaling 1.09ct, sourced by David.

I knew it would be one of the larger rings I have had made, carat-wise, and even after playing around with the loose stones, I was still unprepared for the BLAM! effect when it arrived. Needless to say, I’m still swooning over the amazing sparkles and the color is quite something to behold.

Someone had started a thread asking whether or not lab projects were worthwhile and imho, if there are quality stones like this available- YES. Since I have collected most of my must-have natural stones, I’ll probably plan go the lab route to fill in the gaps or fulfill those nagging desires for a project here and there.

omfg that is GORGEOUS! Can I have like 100 more pics? And if you could permit me in being so annoying - one on your left ring finger? Only if you have the time one day! This is nuts how gorgeous this turned out! Really WOW!

Awww, thanks. These lab stones are really unbelievable, aren’t they? I will see what I can do on getting more pics this weekend. =)2

The rings on my left hand are my wedding set. I have a thread here somewhere, which I should update since I’ve collected several bands recently. lol In the meantime, here’s a pic!

Oh wow! Really beautiful stones and that ring is PERFECT on your finger! Could I ask what size ring you wear? The proportions are perfect!

Thank you! I wear anywhere between a 7 to 7.5 for my rhr; it really depends on the ring style. I had this one made in 7.5 so it's on the roomier side.

Spectacular colors!
