I can finally play!! My pics aren't the greatest, all I have is my Samsung phones camera.
0.55 carat pear, G SI1 set in white gold solitaire setting. Size 8. I like lower settings or so I thought and this one is uber low. It has some of the typical MMD inclusions that are scratch like down towardsthe point but you can't see them irl.

1.41 carat radiant K VS2. Also size 8. Both are eye clean. This one had a teeny black spot on the table that when I showed the video to a number of people and asked them to find a flaw they couldn't spot it. I wanted a warmer colored diamond and set it in a rose gold traditional pave setting. In most lighting it faces up pretty white, but in some lighting you can really see the yellow tint. That's what I wanted though.

I found both of these through Rare Carat and purchased from With Clarity.

I got my earrings from the jeweler! Two 1 ct Lightbox diamonds set via jump rings in platinum lever backs.




The jump rings look alarmingly delicate, so we will see how they hold up. They swing around quite a bit, but come back to face forward very well. The diamonds are super sparkly, and the sales guy proclaimed that he loved them. In contrast, I had tried a fancier jeweler first, and the woman said they tested as non-diamond and she could only find the lightbox mark on one and was kind of snotty about it. I got a cheap loupe off amazon, and it took me all of 2 seconds to find the lightbox inscription on both diamonds. If you’re looking for it, look from the side of the diamond, not the top. I can’t really see any inclusions, but the diamonds immediately get so smudged up from handling them it’s hard to tell what’s surface dirt and what might be inside the diamond to my very untrained eye.

I will try to take some ear shots, but it may be tomorrow as I’ve stuff going on tonight. I think these are casual, but blingy. I am very happy with them!

Got this necklace from Vrai! It's 1.07ct F/VS2 and it's amazeballs! Look at those rainbows!

I told my husband to surprise me with either the emerald or the pear. Now I'm thinking I might need the pear too! I love my lightbox, but I do think this piece kind of blows my 1ct princess out of the water. The chain is nice and secure, too.

Definitely in love.

I was worried it would be too low and “squatty” looking, but I am already used to it and I LOVE the 8 prongs!

My daughter, who was recently engaged with a lab grown diamond (also from Jonathan), tipped me off about lab grown diamonds, I hadn't heard of them. Well, now. I am hooked - I get so much more carat weight than I could afford otherwise. I went with lower color to further up the size - these are J color, ideal cut. The diamonds are from Jonathan Weingarten (aka Rhino) at Distinctive Gem (still AV when I got them) Mark Morrell at MWM Jewelry, made the settings. (The photo credit goes to Mark, I hope he doesn't mind me reposting.) I am super happy with them - the bling and the swing. Mark did an amazing job with the settings, they're works of art.

The details: Eight prong woven baskets for 3.1 ct. tw. lab diamonds (both are J/VS) in Platinum leverback dangle earrings
